The 2025 UG paper on this page is an 18-page English PDF of the test held on 24 May 2025. It runs Maths first, then Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude, and the expected answer to each question is marked in bold. These five questions, one from each part, are from that paper.

The 2025 PDF has 190 numbered questions, not the full 200, and the electron–proton dipole moment question appears twice (Q53 and Q86). Treat the bold answers as a guide and check any that look wrong against your textbook.
How to Use IMU CET Previous Year Papers?
- Keep to 54 seconds a question. 200 questions in 3 hours leaves under a minute each, so the 50 Maths questions need a fast first pass. Mark long sums and come back to them.
- Guess only after ruling out an option. With 1 mark for a right answer and 0.25 cut for a wrong one, a blind guess among four options is worth about +0.06 marks. Ruling out one option lifts that to about +0.17.
- Solve the 2025 paper first, then 2022. Use the 2021 paper only for extra practice, because it is a memory-based version of a test that IMU cancelled.
- Do not skip English and Aptitude. In the 2025 paper they made up 80 of the 190 questions, and most take less time than a Physics or Maths problem.
- Plan for May 2027. That is about seven months away. One timed paper a fortnight, checked and revised, gets you through all three papers at least twice before the test.
