JENPAS UG Answer Key 2027: Expected Date, Challenge, Score

WBJEEB will release the JENPAS(UG) 2027 model answer keys in the candidate sign-in after the exam, which is expected in June 2027. In 2026 the provisional keys came on 23 June, challenges closed on 25 June and the final keys were published on 24 July 2026, with OMR responses shown in between.

How to Check the JENPAS UG 2027 Answer Key

1. Open the WBJEEB JENPAS(UG) page when the model answer key notice is out.
2. Sign in with your application number and password.
3. Open the model answer keys for Paper-I and, if you took it, Paper-II.
4. Find your question booklet series (A, B, C or D), since question numbers differ by series.
5. Match your responses with the key for your series and note any answers you want to challenge.

The model keys and OMR images stay online only for a short time, so save copies.

How to Challenge the JENPAS UG 2027 Answer Key

You can challenge answers in the model key, and separately any wrongly read OMR response, online only.

1. Sign in during the challenge window (23 to 25 June in 2026, up to 11:59 PM).
2. Select the question numbers you want to challenge.
3. Pay Rs 500 per question plus bank charges. The fee is not refunded.
4. Submit and keep the payment receipt.
5. Check your OMR image and machine-read responses when they are released, and challenge any misread response the same way (9 to 11 July in 2026).

Challenges by email, letter, fax or phone are not accepted, and WBJEEB’s decision is final.

What is the difference between the model and final JENPAS UG answer key?

• Model (provisional) key: shown in the sign-in after the exam for candidates to view and challenge.
• Final key: published after WBJEEB reviews the challenges, as a public PDF for all four booklet series; scores and ranks use it. The 2026 final keys are in this official notice.
• OMR response: your own answer sheet as read by the machine, which you can also challenge.

How to Calculate Your JENPAS UG 2027 Score

Use the final key and your machine-read responses. Each paper is out of 115.

• Category-1 (85 questions): +1 for a correct answer, -1/4 for a wrong answer or more than one option, 0 if not attempted.
• Category-2 (15 questions): +2 if you mark all correct options only; 2 x (correct options marked) / (total correct options) if you mark some correct options and no wrong one; 0 if any marked option is wrong.

For example, 70 correct and 12 wrong Category-1 answers plus 10 fully correct Category-2 answers give 70 – 3 + 20 = 87 out of 115. Past final keys for 2023 to 2025 are on the JENPAS UG question papers page.
