The JENPAS(UG) 2027 result will be a rank card with your scores, General Merit Rank (GMR) and, for Paper-II, BHA Merit Rank (BMR), downloaded from the WBJEEB candidate sign-in. It is expected in August 2027. In 2026 the final keys came on 24 July and the result was out by 5 August 2026.

How to Check the JENPAS UG 2027 Result
- Open the WBJEEB JENPAS(UG) page on the result date.
- Click the Rank Card for JENPAS(UG) 2027 link.
- Sign in with your application number, password and the security pin shown.
- View your rank card and check your name, scores and ranks.
- Print it with the portal’s Print option; screenshots and phone photos are not accepted at counselling.
What does the JENPAS UG 2027 rank card show?
The bulletin says the rank card shows all your relevant ranks, your total score and your component scores. WBJEEB does not publish a rank list.
How is the JENPAS UG 2027 merit list prepared?
Paper-I scores give the GMR, used for all courses except BHA; Paper-II scores give the BMR, used only for BHA. Seats are allotted by GMR or BMR only; category ranks are for information. Ties in Paper-I are broken in this order:
- Fewer negative marks in total
- More positive marks in Biology, then Chemistry, then Physics, then English
- More positive marks in Biology and Chemistry together, then Biology and Physics together
- Fewer negative marks in Biology and Chemistry together, then Biology and Physics together
- Older candidate by date of birth, then earlier application number
Paper-II ties are broken by fewer negative marks, then more positive marks in Physical Science, English and Logical Reasoning. Every candidate gets a rank card with scores, but WBJEEB sets a cut-off rank or score, so not everyone gets a rank. For B.Sc. Nursing, INC’s minimum is the 50th percentile for General and EWS, 45th for General PwD and 40th for SC, ST, OBC-A and OBC-B.
What is the expected JENPAS UG 2027 cut off?
There is no fixed pass mark beyond the INC percentile for nursing; admission depends on your rank. As a reference for 2027, these are the 2026 opening and closing ranks (Open category, Home State) at selected government institutes, from WBJEEB’s official ORCR report. BHA ranks are BMR; the rest are GMR.

What happens after the JENPAS UG 2027 result?
WBJEEB runs online e-counselling for the seats. In 2026 it had three rounds from 6 to 31 August 2026.
- Register for each round with a valid GMR or BMR, pay the one-time Rs 500 fee and fill your choices of college and course.
- Check the seat allotment and pay the Rs 1,000 seat acceptance fee online.
- Report to the allotted institute for document verification with your original certificates and a medical fitness certificate.
- Choose upgradation if you want a better choice in the next round.
