The JENPAS(UG) 2027 syllabus follows the WBJEEB bulletin. Paper-I, for all courses except BHA, covers Physics, Chemistry and Biology of Classes 11 and 12, plus Basic English and Health Aptitude. Paper-II, for BHA, covers Class 10 Physical Science and Mathematics, General Knowledge, English and Reasoning. The 2027 bulletin will confirm it.

What is the JENPAS UG 2027 syllabus?
WBJEEB does not issue a chapter list for the science subjects. The bulletin says what level each paper is based on, as below.
- Paper-I: Classes 11 and 12 syllabus of recognised Boards and Councils for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Health Aptitude: a separate official topic list, published on 22 April 2026.
- Paper-II: Class 10 syllabus of WBBSE and equivalent Boards for Physical Science and Mathematics; General Knowledge, Basic English and Logical Reasoning at Class 12 level.

What topics are in JENPAS UG Health Aptitude?
Health Aptitude replaced Logical Reasoning in Paper-I in 2026. The official syllabus (Health Aptitude syllabus PDF) lists nine areas.
- Hygiene and sanitation: personal hygiene, public sanitation, disease prevention
- Common diseases: communicable and non-communicable diseases, basic treatment and patient care
- Healthcare systems and services: hospitals and health centres, first aid, vaccination, health awareness
- National health policies and programmes, such as Ayushman Bharat
- Human anatomy and physiology: skeletal, muscular, respiratory, circulatory, digestive and nervous systems
- Nutrition and dietetics: nutrients, balanced diet, deficiency diseases, nutrition by age group
- Mental health and stress management
- Professional ethics and aptitude: qualities of a healthcare worker, patient rights
- Others: telemedicine, types of disaster and their management
JENPAS UG Paper-II (BHA) Syllabus and Question Split
Paper-II is only for Bachelor of Hospital Administration (BHA) admission.

Category-1 questions have negative marking and Category-2 questions do not.

Each paper lasts 90 minutes. Questions are in English and Bengali, except Basic English, Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge, which are in English only.

How to Prepare for the JENPAS UG 2027 Syllabus
- Revise NCERT or your Board’s Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology books; the three subjects carry 75 of the 115 marks in Paper-I.
- Practise Category-2 questions with more than one correct answer; mark only options you are sure of, since one wrong option makes the answer zero.
- Prepare Health Aptitude from the official topic list, as it has no past papers before 2026.
- For Paper-II, revise Class 10 Physical Science and Mathematics and read current affairs for General Knowledge.
- Solve JENPAS UG previous year question papers in 90 minutes each and check them with the final answer keys.
- Skip Category-1 guesses you cannot narrow down, because each wrong answer costs 1/4 mark.
