What does the Jharkhand ANM 2027 syllabus include?
The Jharkhand ANM syllabus covers General Science, General Knowledge and Mathematics, and all questions are objective multiple choice. This is the split JCECEB gave in the 2026 notice; the 2027 notice will confirm it.

Which topics should you revise for Jharkhand ANM 2027?
JCECEB does not publish a chapter list for ANM, so the topics below are a suggested revision list based on the three subjects, not an official syllabus.
- General Science: Biology (human body systems, nutrition, health, hygiene and common diseases), basic Physics (motion, light, sound, electricity) and basic Chemistry (matter, acids, bases and salts, everyday chemistry).
- General Knowledge: current affairs, Indian history, geography and polity, Jharkhand state facts, and national health programmes.
- Mathematics: number system, percentage, ratio and proportion, average, profit and loss, simple interest, time and work, and basic mensuration.
Which subject matters most in the Jharkhand ANM exam?
General Science matters most: it carries half of the 100 marks and also breaks ties in the merit list. If two candidates have equal totals, JCECEB ranks the one with more Science marks higher, then General Knowledge, then Mathematics.

How to Prepare for the Jharkhand ANM 2027 Syllabus
- Revise Class 9 and 10 Science first, with extra time on Biology, since Science carries 50 marks.
- Practise 15 to 20 arithmetic questions a day to build speed in Mathematics.
- Read a newspaper daily and keep short notes on Jharkhand and national health schemes for General Knowledge.
- Solve old papers in a 2-hour sitting to judge your speed and weak areas.
