How to Apply for Jharkhand ANM 2027
You apply online only, on the JCECEB website, once the 2027 notice is out (expected in July 2027). In 2026 the form was open from 16 July to 9 August 2026, and 10 and 11 August 2026 were the only days to edit it.
Apply Online for Jharkhand ANM 2027
Applications for Jharkhand ANM 2027 are expected in July 2027.
- Go to jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and click the “Click here for All Online Application Submission” button on the homepage.
- Open the “ANM Entrance Competitive Examination” link and read the instructions.
- Register, then fill in your personal, category and academic details.
- Upload a recent colour passport-size photo that shows your face and both ears clearly (not edited), your signature and your left thumb impression.
- Choose your exam centre districts in order of preference.
- Pay the fee online by credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI, submit the form and keep a printout. You do not need to send it to JCECEB.

The fee is not refundable. If you are applying for both the ANM and the GNM entrance, pick the same exam centre city in both forms so that JCECEB can seat you at one school.
Who can apply for Jharkhand ANM 2027?
You can apply if you are a woman who has passed 10+2 and is between 17 and 35 years old. These are the 2026 rules; the 2027 notice will confirm them.
- Gender: only female candidates are eligible for the ANM course.
- Qualification: 10+2 from CBSE, ICSE, a state board or a recognised equivalent exam. The 2026 notice named no stream and no minimum percentage.
- Age: at least 17 years on or before 31 December of the admission year, and at most 35 years.
- Age relaxation: Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers and trained Dais can be up to 42 years old for ANM seats in government Multipurpose Health Worker training schools and ANM schools.
- Medical fitness: you must be medically fit.
- Residence: seats go first to local residents of Jharkhand. Other eligible candidates are admitted only if seats stay vacant after that.
Reservation for EWS, BC-I, BC-II, ST, PTG, SC and disabled candidates follows the latest Jharkhand government policy.
What is the Jharkhand ANM 2027 exam pattern?
The ANM entrance is a 2-hour objective (MCQ) test of 100 marks: 50 marks of General Science, 25 of General Knowledge and 25 of Mathematics. Topic guidance is on the Jharkhand ANM 2027 syllabus page.

In 2026 the exam ran from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Sunday, 23 August, at centres in the district headquarters of Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Palamu, Jamshedpur, Dumka and Hazaribagh.
