Jharkhand B.Ed Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2026

The Jharkhand B.Ed Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (also known as JCECEB B.Ed, Jharkhand B.Ed CET, or JCECE B.Ed) is conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for the session 2026–28. Furthermore, qualified candidates can secure admission to the 2-year B.Ed programme. Subsequently, the board released the Final Answer Key on 3 June 2026. Therefore, candidates can now await the merit list and counselling schedule.

Application Form

The application form was available from 25 February 2026 to 07 April 2026 on bedcet.jceceb.org.in. Subsequently, JCECEB opened the correction window on 08 and 09 April 2026 for applicants to edit their submitted details. Additionally, candidates could verify uploaded documents and signatures during this window. Therefore, only candidates who completed the application process were eligible to download the admit card and appear for the entrance test. Furthermore, JCECEB did not entertain late submissions or fresh registrations after the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
  • Engineering Graduates: B.E. or B.Tech in Science and Mathematics is accepted with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
  • Subject Requirement: Candidates need a minimum 50% marks in the chosen teaching subject during the qualifying degree.
  • Final Year Students: Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination were allowed to apply provisionally.

Exam Pattern

JCECEB conducted the test in offline OMR-based mode. Furthermore, it consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions across four sections, with 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer. Therefore, candidates needed to attempt questions carefully to maximise their score. Additionally, the total duration was 2 hours. Moreover, all questions carried equal marks.

The Jharkhand B.Ed Answer Key 2026 (Final) was released by JCECEB on 3 June 2026 on jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Furthermore, JCECEB accepted objections to the provisional key before releasing the final version. Subsequently, no further challenges are being accepted.
