The Jharkhand ITI Merit List 2026 (session 2026-27-28) is the ranking DET Jharkhand prepares from Class 8 or Class 10 marks for ITI seats. The NCVT provisional list came on 20 July 2026 and the final list on 6 August 2026. You check your seat allotment status and download the allotment letter by logging in at iti.jharkhand.gov.in.

This page shows how to check your Jharkhand ITI merit and seat allotment status, how the merit list is made, what to do after you get a seat and how vacant seats are filled.
How to check the Jharkhand ITI merit list 2026 and allotment status?
You check your status by logging in to the ITI admission portal. You do not search the result by name or roll number.
- Open the Applicant Login page on iti.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Enter your application number and password, type the captcha and log in.
- Open your Seat Allotment Status to see whether you have been allotted an ITI and trade.
- If your status shows Eligible, generate and download your allotment letter.
- Print the allotment letter and take it to the allotted ITI within the admission dates.

How is the Jharkhand ITI merit list prepared?
DET ranks registered candidates on their qualifying-exam marks, Class 8 or Class 10 depending on the trade, and applies the state reservation rules. Only candidates who have selected ITI and trade options are placed in the merit list.
There is one provisional merit list and one final merit list. Between them, from 21 to 28 July 2026, candidates could correct their name, father’s name, date of birth, marks or percentage and category. Seats are then allotted round by round, not through separate 1st, 2nd and 3rd merit lists.
What should you do after you get a Jharkhand ITI seat?
Report to the allotted ITI within the admission dates of your round, with your documents. If you do not take admission in time, the seat goes back into later rounds.
- Download and print your provisional seat allotment letter from your login.
- Carry your Class 10 or Class 8 marksheet, Class 10 admit card and certificate, caste and residential certificates, SLC/CLC, Aadhaar photocopy, six photographs and a medical certificate, with two sets of photocopies.
- Get your documents checked at the ITI and complete the counselling there.
- Pay the fee at the ITI. A Government ITI charges Rs 500 refundable caution money and a monthly tuition fee.

How are vacant Jharkhand ITI seats filled after the merit list?
Seats left after Round 1 go to Round 2, where candidates first modify their ITI and trade options and then take admission. After that, a spot round lets registered applicants take vacant seats directly at the ITI.
In 2026, DET also opened a fresh NCVT window from 10 to 12 October 2026 and will publish a separate merit list for those who chose options in it. Check the vacant seat page for seats left in each ITI and trade.
When is the Jharkhand ITI SCVT merit list 2026?
Not announced yet. The official schedule lists the SCVT merit list, correction window and seat allotment as coming soon. SCVT applications for Government and PPP-mode ITIs were scheduled from 30 September to 3 October 2026, and DET says SCVT admission will start only after the admission order is issued.
