J&K Polytechnic previous year question papers from the old J&K BOPEE Polytechnic Entrance Test are kept here as a free archive: the 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019 booklets, each with 180 questions in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and the official 2018 answer key. The test was dropped from 2021, and JKBOTE now admits students to J&K and Ladakh polytechnics on Class 10 marks, so these papers are only for revising Class 10 level subjects.

What a J&K Polytechnic Entrance Paper Looked Like
The 2017, 2018 and 2019 booklets are headed Polytechnic Entrance Test and the 2015 booklet Polytechnic Written Test. Each has 180 one-mark questions for 3 hours, with 0.25 mark cut for a wrong answer. The 2017 to 2019 booklets number the sections as below.

How to Use J&K Polytechnic Previous Year Papers?
- Know that there is no test to prepare for. Your Class 10 board percentage decides your polytechnic rank. Spend most of your time on your board exam.
- Use the papers for Class 10 revision. Mathematics has 70 of the 180 questions and Physics 50, so the booklets give a lot of short practice on Class 10 Maths and Science.
- Score the 2018 paper with its key. The booklet is code A, so use the Code A column: +1 for each right answer and −0.25 for each wrong one, out of 180.
- Watch for the 2027 notification. It is expected around March to April 2027 on the JKBOTE website. In 2026 the form opened on 1 April and was extended up to 14 June.
