Karnataka MBBS admission 2018 conducted under the supervision of Karnataka Examinations Authority. Karnataka MBBS admission 2018

Selection of candidates is strictly done on the basis of NEET 2018. KEA releases the application form of Karnataka MBBS/BDS admission 2018. Candidates should note that admissions to a certain percentage of state quota seats will be granted through NEET whereas the admissions to the remaining seats will be granted through the MBBS admission 2018 process conducted by the state. Thus, candidates need to remember that the admission into Karnataka medical colleges is highly dependent on the NEET 2018 exam as it will commence only after the NEET (UG) 2018 results have been announced. Note:

  • The candidates whose name is not included in the un-allotted candidate’s names list forwarded to the respective colleges for admission to Dental courses can also participate in the Dental Mop Up round on September 11, 2018.
  • The Candidates who participated in Medical allotment on August 23, 2018, can participate for general, SC, ST, OBC category according to their ranks. AO/KEA.
  • After allotment on August 23, 2018, leftover seats will be notified on website interested candidates can participate on August 24, 2018, having ranks all India Rank above one lakhs. AO/KEA.
  • Any candidates willing to cancel the allotted medical seats can cancel before 4.00 pm on 21/08/2018. If they cancel after the given date and time, the entire fee paid will be forfeited. AO/KEA

Note* The delay in the second round of counselling in the state is due to the delay in reversion of unfilled seats at the end of second round of All India counselling by DGHS. Please note that 15% of seats of government medical colleges have been handed over to DGHS for counselling at all India level.

Application Forms For Karnataka MBBS admission 2018

The application process for state MBBS admissions 2018 commences after NEET has announced the results and sent the merit list to each state admissions authority. Once, the state MBBS admission authority which in this case is Karnataka Examinations Authority receives the merit list from CBSE then it invites application forms from the eligible candidates who wish to participate in the admissions process. To register for the process candidates need to pay the application fees. The application fees general category candidates is Rs 650 and for reserved category candidates the application fees is Rs 500. The fees can be paid through e-challan.

Karnataka MBBS Counselling Process 2018

The counseling session for Karnataka MBBS/BDS 2018 was held in two sessions. The counseling process of Karnataka admission process is to be held in the online mode by Karnataka Examination Authority.   5. what is the procedure of kea neet counselling foe non-local andhra candidates.somme ofthe unreserved candidates are getting seats for AIR 40000 and some are not getting for AIR 46000. as there is mo reservation in private seats then why are this fluctuations.
