The latest official list (CUET UG 2026) has 244 institutions: 49 central, 41 state, 27 deemed, 120 private and 7 other government institutions. The 2027 list is expected with the bulletin around January 2027.
Latest (23 June 2026): NTA declared the CUET (UG) 2026 result on 23 June 2026, and the 244 participating institutions used these scores for 2026-27 admissions. The CUET (UG) 2027 list is not out yet; it is expected with the information bulletin around January 2027.

244 institutions accepted CUET (UG) scores in the latest official list, published by NTA for CUET (UG) 2026. NTA has not released the CUET (UG) 2027 list yet, so use this list as the reference until the 2027 bulletin is out. When will the CUET UG 2027 universities list be released?
The participating list is published with the CUET (UG) information bulletin, which is expected in January 2027; the exam itself is expected in May 2027 and the result in June 2027.

How does admission work after CUET UG 2027?
There is no common counselling for CUET (UG). NTA only conducts the test and declares scores; each university runs its own application, merit list and seat allotment. You can use one CUET score for as many participating universities as you like, but you must apply to each one separately.
- Check the programmes and required CUET subjects of each target university before you fill the CUET form. On the NTA list each university’s name opens its programme and subject-mapping PDF.
- Apply for CUET (UG) 2027 on cuet.nta.nic.in, choosing the languages and domain subjects your target programmes need.
- Fill each university’s own admission form on its website. Some open it before the CUET result, others after.
- After the result, enter your CUET scores where the university asks for them and fill your programme or college preferences.
- Follow each university’s merit lists or allotment rounds, then complete document verification and pay the fee to confirm your seat.

Where can I find each university’s CUET subject requirements?
Each university decides which CUET tests count for each programme, so the same score can be eligible at one university and not at another. The official NTA participating-universities pages link every university to a PDF of its programmes and the CUET subjects it needs. Read the 2027 versions once NTA publishes them, and the university’s own admission notice.
