The JMI Entrance Exam 2026 Application Form was released by JMI on 20 February 2026, with the last date for most courses being 25 March 2026. Candidates filled the form at jmicoe.in after checking the eligibility criteria, entering accurate details, uploading documents, and paying the application fee. A correction window was provided from 1 to 6 April 2026 to edit registration errors. For programmes admitted via CUET, candidates applied through the CUET portal (cuet.nta.nic.in) instead.

JMI Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility varies by programme. For UG courses (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Ed, BA LLB, etc.), candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with the subject requirements specified for each course. For PG courses (MA, M.Sc, MBA, MCA, LLM, etc.), a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45 to 50 percent marks is generally required. Some programmes also accept JEE Main (for B.Tech), NATA (for B.Arch), CUET, or NEET scores in place of a separate JMI entrance test.
JMI Entrance Exam Pattern
The JMI Entrance Exam pattern differs from course to course. Most entrance tests are offline (OMR-based) objective papers. For example, the MBA test (3 hours) has 170 MCQs covering Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English, while the MCA test (J-CAT) covers Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, Computer Fundamentals, and Mathematics. The JMI Entrance Exam admit card was released from 17 April 2026 onwards at jmicoe.in. Candidates downloaded the hall ticket by logging in with their application credentials. The admit card was a mandatory document to enter the examination hall and carried the candidate’s roll number, exam centre, date, and reporting time.
