How to Download the JMI Entrance Exam Admit Card 2027
JMI sends an SMS to your registered mobile or posts a notice on the admission portal when your admit card is ready, and you then download it yourself.
- Open the JMI admission portal and log in with the email ID and password from your registration.
- Open the admit card link for your programme.
- Check your name, photo, test centre, date and reporting time.
- Print two copies of the admit card.
- Paste a recent self-attested colour passport-size photo in the box on each copy.

What should you carry to the JMI test centre?
You are allowed in only with a valid admit card that has your photo pasted on it and a valid ID.
- Two printed copies of the admit card; you hand one copy to the invigilator.
- A self-attested colour passport-size photo pasted on the admit card.
- A valid ID card: Aadhaar or any other ID issued by the Government of India.
- Keep the admit card after the test. You need it again at the interview and at admission.
What are the JMI exam-day rules?
Follow the instructions on the admit card and report at the time printed on it.
- The test centre cannot be changed once allotted.
- JMI uses Aadhaar-based biometric checks; in 2026 it also placed metal detectors at the gates of all test centres.
- Impersonation is a criminal offence under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, and cancels the candidature.
- If a programme in a city has 49 or fewer applicants, JMI may move its test to Delhi or another city and show this on the admit card.
