How to check the Maharashtra ITI 2027 merit list and allotment result?

  1. Open the admission portal and choose Registered Candidate Login.
  2. Log in with your registration number and password.
  3. Click Proceed to ITI Admission Portal to open your ITI Admission Dashboard.
  4. Check your provisional or final merit numbers. Class 10 and Class 12 level trades show separate merit numbers.
  5. After each CAP round, open the round details to see the ITI and trade allotted to you.
  6. Download and print your allotment letter, then report to the allotted ITI within the dates given.

DVET also sends your final merit number and any allotment by SMS to the mobile number in your application. If you forget your password, reset it on the login page with your security question or an OTP on your registered mobile.

What does the Maharashtra ITI merit list show?

Each Maharashtra candidate gets up to four merit numbers, and DVET uses the one that fits each seat:

  • State Merit No.: your rank among all applicants in the state.
  • State Category Merit No.: your rank within your reserved category, if any.
  • Home District General Merit No.: your rank in the district where you passed Class 10.
  • Home District Category Merit No.: your category rank in that district, if any.

Candidates from other states and NRIs get only a state-level general merit number. A merit number does not guarantee a seat in any trade; that depends on your choices and the seats left in each round.

The provisional merit list comes first, followed by an objections window and then the final merit list. In 2026 these came on 25 June and 28 June 2026.

What details are shown in the Maharashtra ITI 2027 allotment?

Your dashboard lists each CAP round’s result, and the same details appear on the allotment letter you download.

What should you do after you get a Maharashtra ITI seat?

Report in person to the allotted ITI within the round’s admission dates and confirm your admission. If you do not report in time, you lose the seat and it goes to the next round.

  1. Print your allotment letter.
  2. Take all original documents for your claims, one set of self-attested photocopies and two recent passport-size photos.
  3. Pay the training fee: in cash, at one time, at a government ITI; in the form the institute accepts at a private ITI.
  4. The ITI checks your documents and completes admission online, then gives you a signed Admission Confirmation Slip.
  5. Your dashboard status changes to Admitted.

Whether you must accept a seat depends on the round and your preference number: a 1st preference in Round 1, a top-3 preference in Round 2, a top-5 preference in Round 3 and any preference in Round 4. The full CAP rules are on the Maharashtra ITI admission page.

What happens to seats left after the CAP rounds?

Seats still vacant after CAP Round 4 are filled in counselling rounds. Candidates who register for a round are called in merit order, and seats are given on the spot according to availability, choice and eligibility.

Before counselling, DVET reopens the application for candidates who did not apply earlier, such as Class 10 supplementary exam candidates. Private ITIs also fill their institute-level seats directly until the last date of admission.

Maharashtra ITI Merit List 2027 FAQs

Why do I have two Maharashtra ITI merit numbers?
Class 10 level and Class 12 level trades have separate merit lists. If you have passed Class 12, your dashboard shows one merit number for each, and each is used only for its own trades.
Is the Maharashtra ITI merit list released as a PDF?
DVET publishes the merit list online and at the ITIs that work as application centres, and your own merit numbers are shown in your login. After each round, every ITI also puts up the list of candidates allotted to it on its notice board.
What if I cannot submit all documents when I report?
The ITI can give you 15 days to submit a missing document. If you do not submit it in that time, your admission is cancelled.
Can I change my trade or ITI after admission?
For the final 2026 counselling round, DVET said that admitted candidates could not cancel admission or change trade or institute, because their data had already been uploaded to the central portal.
Do I need to fill the option form again for every round?
You can change your choices in your login before each round. If you get no seat and do not fill new choices, DVET uses your options from the previous round.
