Manipur NEET Counselling 2026, officially the Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026-27, is the online state counselling run by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Manipur, for MBBS, BDS and BASLP seats on NEET UG 2026 marks. Rounds 1 and 2 are over. The Round 3 merit list and allotment result are scheduled for 14 October 2026.

Latest (9 October 2026): DME Manipur notified the Round 3 seat matrix for State Government quota seats on 9 October 2026. Round 3 choice filling was open from 8 to 11 October; the merit list and allotment result are scheduled for 14 October 2026.

Manipur NEET Counselling 2026 Important Dates

Rounds 1 and 2 are complete. Round 3 merit list is due on the morning of 14 October 2026 and the allotment result that evening, with reporting on 14 and 15 October 2026. A stray vacancy round has not been notified yet; in the 2025-26 counselling DME held one in November 2025. The 2027 counselling is expected from about August 2027, after the NEET UG 2027 result.

Which seats are filled through Manipur NEET counselling?

DME Manipur fills three seat types, and you pick one or more of them when you register. The choice of seat type cannot be changed later.

Of the 314 MBBS seats, 158 were UR, 97 ST, 39 OBC (M), 12 OBC (MP), 6 SC and 2 OBC (TN). To see the NEET marks at which these seats went in Round 1, check the Manipur NEET cut off. All India Quota seats are filled separately through MCC NEET counselling.

How to apply for Manipur NEET Counselling 2026?

You register once on the Manipur Medical e-Counselling portal, pay the fees and then fill fresh choices in every round. New candidates could also register before Rounds 2 and 3.

The Manipur NEET Counselling 2026 application window (13 to 19 August 2026) has closed.

Open the Manipur Medical e-Counselling portal and select Start Registration under the UG Counselling tab.
Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number, NEET UG application number and date of birth to fetch your NEET data.
Give your own or a parent’s mobile number and email, set a password and verify both with the OTPs sent to you.
Choose the seat type (Government, Management at SAHS, NRI at SAHS, or more than one), then fill your course and institute choices in order of preference.
Complete your profile and category, enter your Class 12 marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and upload the documents asked for your seat type.
Submit the application, enter your refund bank account and pay the fees online. Then lock your choices before the deadline; unlocked choices are auto-locked.

The application fee is non-refundable. The security fee is refunded to the paying account after all rounds end, but it is forfeited if you do not join a seat allotted in Round 2 or later, or if your admission is cancelled. Previously registered candidates pay nothing extra for choice filling.

How to log in to the Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026 portal?

You log in to finish or check your application, verify a payment, lock choices, re-upload documents that DME sends back, and download your allotment or provisional admission letter.

Open the official login page of the MBBS/BDS/BASLP counselling.
Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number.
Enter the password you set at registration.
Type the security code (captcha); it is case-sensitive.
After logging in, check your application status, any remarks on your documents, and the choice-filling or allotment page for the current round.

Forgot your password? Use Forgot Password on the login page and choose a reset code by SMS to your registered mobile number or a verification link to your registered email. DME does not accept requests to change the registered mobile number or email.

Who can apply for Manipur NEET Counselling 2026?

You must have qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet the eligibility conditions of the seat type you choose.

State Government quota seats are allotted under the Manipur MBBS/BDS/BASLP (Selection of Candidates for Nomination) Rules, 2021, as amended in 2025. Check the eligibility conditions and document formats given on the portal before you register.
Class 12 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with the minimum marks set in the NEET UG 2026 bulletin.
Seats are reserved for ST, SC, OBC (M), OBC (MP) and OBC (TN) candidates as per the seat matrix.
A reserved-category candidate placed in the UR list on merit (a meritorious reserved candidate) may take a seat of their own category, and that seat is counted as UR.
NRI quota seats at SAHS are open only to candidates eligible as NRI.
You can submit only one application; candidates found with more than one are debarred.

How do the Manipur counselling rounds work?

Each round has fresh choice filling, a merit list, an allotment result and reporting. Choices from an earlier round are not carried forward.

The merit list of a round has only candidates who filled and locked choices in that round.
In Rounds 1 and 2 you choose Freeze (keep the seat and report in person) or Float (keep the seat but seek an upgrade). Round 2 also had a Reject option.
Float candidates are verified online and download a provisional admission letter; RDC Guwahati candidates must still report in person.
Round 3 has no Float or Freeze option: everyone allotted or retained in Round 3 must report to the college in person within the reporting period.
A surrendered seat cannot be claimed back. Float candidates surrender online; Freeze candidates resign at the college.
For Round 3, the Management quota seat matrix at SAHS is subject to the outcome of Writ Appeal No. 28 of 2026.

When is the Manipur NEET Counselling 2026 Round 3 result?

DME has scheduled the Round 3 merit list for the morning of 14 October 2026 and the seat allotment result for the evening of the same day. Allotted candidates report to colleges on 14 and 15 October 2026. These dates are marked tentative.

Do I need to register again for Round 3?

No, if you registered in Round 1 or 2. But you must fill and lock fresh choices, because choices from earlier rounds are not valid. Candidates who never registered could register fresh for Round 3 and pay the fees.

Which colleges are in Manipur NEET counselling?

State Government quota seats are at RIMS and JNIMS in Imphal, Churachandpur Medical College, Shija Academy of Health Sciences and, for BDS, Regional Dental College Guwahati. Management and NRI quota MBBS seats are only at Shija Academy of Health Sciences, Langol.

Is the Rs 15,000 security fee refundable?

Yes. It is refunded to the account you paid from after all rounds end. It is forfeited if you do not join a seat allotted in Round 2 or a later round, or if your admission is cancelled for any reason.

When will Manipur NEET Counselling 2027 start?

It will follow the NEET UG 2027 result and the MCC schedule. In 2026 the notification came on 10 August and Round 1 registration ran from 13 to 19 August, so the 2027 counselling is expected around August 2027.
