About MGU CAT 2017 – Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test for PG
The University introduced Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) for the PG programmes in the University Statutory Teaching Departments from the year 2012 onwards following the resounding success of the CAP initiatives for UG and PG programmes in the affiliated colleges. As all these initiatives received overwhelming response from the student community, college/department authorities and the general public the University decided to broaden the reach of the admission process for the PG programmes in the Statutory Teaching Departments and Inter School Centre of the University by introducing a Common Admission Test from the academic year 2014-15 onwards.
