What is the MGU CAT 2027 exam pattern?

MGU CAT is an online test held at centres in Kerala, Chennai and Bengaluru. The number of questions, marks and time for each programme are given in the prospectus. Some programmes also hold an interview, group discussion or written test before the rank list.

MBA and International quota seats have no CAT-MGU test, and M.Tech applicants with a valid GATE score are exempt. More on dates and eligibility is on the MGU CAT 2027 main page.

How should you prepare for MGU CAT 2027?

Download the 2027 prospectus as soon as it is out and note the syllabus for every programme you apply for (up to four).
Revise your core degree subjects first, since the test follows the qualifying degree.
Use your university’s UG textbooks and notes for the subject; they match the degree-level base of the test.
Practise objective questions under time limits so you are comfortable with an online test.
If your programme has an interview or group discussion, prepare to talk about your subject and your reasons for choosing the course.
