The MH CET Law Result 2026 for the 5-year integrated LLB is expected to be declared by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra by mid-June 2026 at cetcell.mahacet.org. Around 27,000 candidates appeared for the 5-year LLB exam held on 8 May 2026. The provisional answer key was released on 24 May 2026 and the objection window closed on 26 May. The final answer key is expected in the first week of June, after which the result will be processed. Once declared, candidates can log in to the candidate portal with their application number / email ID and password to download the percentile scorecard. What is the MH CET Law Result 2026?

The MH CET Law Result 2026 is the official outcome of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (5-year integrated LLB) conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. The result is published in the form of an online scorecard at cetcell.mahacet.org, after the final answer key is processed and candidate scores are normalised across the two shifts. The MH CET Law Result 2026 for the 5-year LLB is expected to be declared by mid-June 2026 for the exam held on 8 May 2026. How to Check the Result

The CET Cell Maharashtra publishes the result in online mode only. Once declared, candidates can follow the steps below to check the MH CET Law Result 2026 and download the scorecard.

  1. Visit the official website cetcell.mahacet.org.
  2. Click on the “MAH CET LLB 5-year” tab on the homepage.
  3. Click on the “View Score Card” or “Result” link as notified.
  4. Enter your application number / registered email ID and password.
  5. Complete the captcha and sign in.
  6. View the scorecard displayed on screen with your percentile score and rank.
  7. Download the PDF and take at least two printouts for use during CAP counselling.
  8. Verify all personal details and category mentioned on the scorecard.

Score Normalisation

Since the MH CET Law exam was held in two shifts on 8 May 2026, the CET Cell Maharashtra applies a normalisation procedure to ensure fairness across sessions of varying difficulty. The MH CET Law Result 2026 scorecard reflects the normalised percentile score and not the raw score. A candidate’s percentile indicates the percentage of candidates who scored at or below their level in the same session. The percentile is used along with category and preference order to determine seat allotment in CAP counselling.

Tie-Breaking Rules

When two or more candidates obtain the same percentile score, the CET Cell Maharashtra applies the following tie-breaking rules in order to assign ranks.

  1. Higher score in Legal Aptitude & Legal Reasoning section.
  2. Higher score in English section.
  3. Higher score in Logical & Analytical Reasoning section.
  4. Higher score in General Knowledge with Current Affairs section.
  5. Higher score in Basic Mathematics section.
  6. Older candidate by date of birth, if the tie still persists.

After the Result – CAP Counselling

Candidates qualifying with a valid MH CET Law Result 2026 must register for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the CET Cell Maharashtra. The 5-year LLB CAP schedule is expected to be notified in July 2026 onwards. During CAP, candidates upload original documents for verification, pay the participation fee, and fill in college and course preferences. Seats are allotted across multiple rounds based on merit rank, category, preference order, and seat availability. Allotted candidates accept the seat by paying the confirmation fee and reporting to the allotted institute within the deadline. Vacant seats after the central rounds are typically filled through institute-level admissions.
