MP NEET Counselling 2026 is the state counselling for MBBS and BDS seats in Madhya Pradesh, run by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Bhopal, on NEET UG 2026 ranks. It fills state quota seats in government colleges and seats in private colleges. The mop-up allotment came out on 10 October 2026.

MP NEET Counselling 2026 Important Dates
Round 1, Round 2 and the mop-up round are over, and mop-up reporting runs from 11 to 14 October 2026. DME MP has not announced any further round so far. The 2027 counselling is expected around August 2027, after the NEET UG 2027 result.

Which seats are filled through MP NEET counselling?
DME MP fills all MBBS and BDS seats in Madhya Pradesh except the All India Quota of government colleges. The final 2026 seat chart of 13 August 2026 lists these seats.

For All India Quota seats, AIIMS Bhopal and other central seats, register separately in MCC NEET counselling. Candidates whose names appear in the All India admitted list were disqualified from the state mop-up round.
How to apply for MP NEET Counselling 2026?
You create a profile with your NEET UG 2026 roll number and register once on the DME MP portal. Fresh registration was also opened before Round 2 and the mop-up round; candidates already registered did not register again.
Apply Online for MP NEET Counselling 2026
The MP NEET Counselling 2026 application window (5 to 13 August 2026) has closed.
- Open the DME MP website and select Under Graduate Counselling (MBBS/BDS Course).
- Select Create Profile and enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number, date of birth, a secret key and the captcha.
- Add your contact and bank account details, verify the OTP sent to your mobile or email, and set a password.
- Open the registration form and fill in your domicile, category, PwD, NRI, Sainik or freedom fighter, government school and Class 12 details as they apply to you.
- Upload the documents, check the preview and pay the registration fee online by net banking, card or UPI.
- Print the receipt. Then fill and lock your college choices in the choice-filling window of each round.

The mop-up security deposit is forfeited if you are allotted a seat and do not take admission, and you then cannot join later rounds. For candidates already admitted who opted for upgradation, the tuition fee already paid counts as the security.
How to log in to the MP NEET UG counselling portal?
You log in to the DME MP UG counselling portal to edit your registration, fill and lock choices, see your allotment and download the admission slip.
- Open the official login page of MP State Combined UG Counselling.
- Enter your NEET (UG) 2026 roll number.
- Enter the password you set while creating your profile, and the captcha.
- Check your status tracker to see whether your profile and registration are complete.
- In a choice-filling window, add and lock your choices; after the allotment result, check your allotted college.
Forgot your password? Use the Forgot Password link on the login page. New users who have no password yet select Create Profile first.
Who can apply for MP NEET Counselling 2026?
You must have qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet the rules of the MP Chikitsa Shiksha Pravesh Niyam 2018, as amended.
- Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, with the minimum marks in the NEET UG 2026 bulletin.
- State quota seats are for Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates. Round 1 choice filling in 2026 was open to MP domicile registered candidates.
- NRI seats in private colleges are open to NRI candidates who fill the NRI details in the form.
- Reserved category, PwD, Sainik, freedom fighter and government school claims need the matching certificates.
How are MP state quota seats reserved?
The 2026 seat chart splits the open state quota seats of government colleges by category as below. Private colleges have no EWS share, so their unreserved share is 50%.

Some seats are also kept for PwD candidates, wards of soldiers (Sainik), freedom fighters’ wards and students of MP government schools (GS). In 2026, government colleges had 131 PwD, 79 Sainik, 79 freedom fighter and 131 GS seats. Private colleges had 127 PwD and 127 GS seats, plus 15% NRI seats.
Which government medical colleges take part in MP NEET counselling?
The final 2026 seat chart lists 20 government medical colleges with 3,020 MBBS seats. Total seats include the All India Quota.

How do the MP counselling rounds and upgrades work?
Each round has a merit list, vacancies, choice filling, an allotment result and in-person reporting at the college.
- At admission you must choose an upgradation option (YES or NO). The admission slip is generated only after you choose.
- Candidates who opt for upgradation keep their seat and may move to a better seat in the next round, but must complete admission again at the new college.
- Fresh choice filling is needed for the mop-up round, even if you filled choices before.
- If you resign after the mop-up round has started, the seat leaving bond applies under rule 15(1).
- Candidates admitted through All India counselling are removed from the state mop-up and later rounds.
