How to Check NIFT TEA Admission 2027 Status
You check your NIFT-TEA admission status with the college directly, because there is no online result login. Follow these steps.
- Submit the NIFT-TEA application form for your chosen course.
- Wait for the college’s admission office to contact you on the mobile number or email you gave.
- If you applied for B.Sc. AFD or B.Sc. CDF, take the NIFT TEA Creative Ability Test and ask the college for your outcome.
- Accept the provisional admission offer from the college.
- When your Class 12 (or UG) result is out, pay the full fee within 7 days to confirm the seat.

How is a NIFT-TEA seat confirmed after the Class 12 result?
A NIFT-TEA seat is confirmed only after the qualifying exam result and full fee payment. The rules below are from the college’s admission cell.
- Provisional admission is offered to candidates who meet the eligibility and selection criteria.
- The full fee must be paid within 7 days of the qualifying exam result.
- Students who finished the qualifying exam more than a year ago pay the full fee at the time of admission.
- If you cancel within 7 days of admission, any refund follows the management’s norms.
- Parents sign an undertaking form in the HR section at the time of admission.
Is there a NIFT TEA Admission 2027 cut off?
NIFT-TEA does not publish cut off marks or a merit list. The only marks rule is the minimum eligibility: 60% in HSC for B.Sc. Apparel Manufacturing and Merchandising and B.Sc. Apparel Fashion Designing, and a pass in HSC for the other UG programmes. Full rules are on the NIFT TEA Admission 2027 page.
What fee concession do high marks get at NIFT-TEA?
NIFT-TEA gives a merit fee concession for the whole course based on your qualifying exam marks. These are the latest published slabs.

- School toppers: 50% for 1st rank, 40% for 2nd and 30% for 3rd, for the whole course.
- Sports: 5% (zonal) to 50% (national) in the first year, renewed only with continued sports performance.
- Rs 10,000 off the first semester if a parent works for a NIFT-TEA member company or an industry body such as TEA refers you.
- 20% for the whole course for NIFT-TEA UG graduates who join its PG or PG Diploma.
What happens after NIFT-TEA admission is confirmed?
After confirmation you join classes at the Tiruppur campus. UG classes start in the second week of June and PG classes in the first week of July.
- Bus and hostel fees are paid for the full semester; part payment is not accepted.
- Free bus service runs from Nallur and Koolipalayam Naal Road to the college and back.
- B.Sc. Computer Science students without Maths in Class 12 take a bridge course.
