The Odisha ITI merit list 2026-27 is the ITI-wise selection list prepared by SAMS for DTET Odisha from Class 10 marks, reservation and your choices. The 1st selection list came on 17 July 2026 and the 2nd on 28 July 2026. Vacant seats are now filled through spot admission, with registration open from 10 to 15 October 2026.

How to Check the Odisha ITI Merit List 2026
You check your selection by logging in to your SAMS ITI account, where the intimation letter can be downloaded. SAMS also sends an SMS, WhatsApp message and email to selected candidates in the selection-list rounds.
- Open the SAMS ITI student login page (skill.samsodisha.gov.in, then ITI, then Student Login).
- Enter your registered mobile number, your password and the captcha, and click Login.
- On the dashboard, open your selection status to see the ITI and trade you got.
- Download and print your intimation letter. It gives the ITI where you must report and the date and time for admission.
- Check the notice board of the selected ITI too, where the institute-wise merit list is displayed.
Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your registered mobile number and email, verify the OTP and set a new password of at least 8 characters. You can also call the Sanjog helpline 155335 or 1800-345-6770 with your CAF barcode number to hear your status.
What does the Odisha ITI intimation letter show?
SAMS issues an intimation letter, not a scorecard. It tells you where and when to take admission.
What is the Odisha ITI 2026-27 cut off?
Cut-offs are the closing aggregate Class 10 marks (%) for each trade, category and ITI. The figures below are from the 2026-27 Phase-I first selection for Class 10-pass candidates, as shown on the official SAMS cut-off page.

Cut-offs differ widely between ITIs, trades and rounds, and seats left after the selection lists go in the spot round at lower marks. Check any ITI and trade on the SAMS cut-off marks page, which also has 2024-25 and 2025-26 figures.
What should you do after you are selected?
- Report at the selected ITI on the date and time in your intimation letter. In 2026 the reporting windows were 17 to 20 July (1st list) and 28 to 30 July (2nd list).
- Show your intimation letter, Applicant Copy, original SLC/CLC and Transfer Certificate, all original certificates with one set of photocopies, and three colour passport-size photographs.
- The ITI checks your CAF against your documents. A wrong gender, category, marks or disability entry is corrected on the spot; if corrected marks fall below the cut-off, you move to the next round.
- Pay the admission fee to the Principal: Rs 4,300 for a 1st-year engineering trade and Rs 2,000 for a non-engineering trade in Government ITIs; women and PwD candidates pay Rs 200.
- If you are happy with a lower choice, freeze it with Annexure-7 in your login. Otherwise auto slide-up may move you to a better choice in the next list.
If you do not take admission after selection, your name is removed for that phase. On 31 July 2026 SAMS published the ITI-wise vacancy list, and the remaining seats went to the spot round described on the Odisha ITI Admission 2026-27 page.
How does the Odisha ITI spot round merit list work?
In the spot round there is no statewide list. Each ITI tags the CAFs of candidates who come in person, after checking their original documents and an OTP sent to their SAMS-registered mobile.
- Tagging closes at 1:00 PM each day and the ITI’s spot merit list appears in its e-Space at 2:00 PM.
- Seats are allotted on merit with the reservation rules, and admissions for the day end by 8:00 PM.
- All tagged forms are untagged at 9:00 PM each day, so you can take part again the next day.
- Spot selections are shown only on the ITI’s notice board; no SMS or email is sent.
