The OJEE 2027 syllabus is set course-wise by the OJEE Committee, Odisha, and is published as a PDF on ojee.nic.in with the information brochure. B.Pharm uses the +2 science syllabus, lateral entry papers use diploma or B.Sc topics and PG papers use the qualifying degree. The 2027 PDF is expected around January 2027.

What is in the OJEE B.Pharm syllabus?
The B.Pharm paper covers Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology at the +2 level, with 40 questions in each subject.
- Physics: measurements and motion, gravitation, rotational motion, heat and thermodynamics, kinetic theory, properties of solids and liquids, electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, electronic devices, atomic and nuclear physics.
- Chemistry: states of matter, atomic structure, chemical bonding, periodic classification, energetics, equilibrium and kinetics, electrochemistry, surface chemistry, metallurgy, non-metals, organic chemistry, biochemistry, polymers and environmental chemistry.
- Mathematics: logic, sets, relations and functions, number system, matrices and determinants, trigonometry, 2D and 3D coordinate geometry, sequences and series, vectors, differential and integral calculus, differential equations, probability and statistics.
- Biology: plant diversity, morphology and taxonomy, cell biology, genetics and DNA, biotechnology, plant physiology, ecology, economic botany, animal tissues and organ systems, human reproduction, evolution and human diseases.
What is the OJEE syllabus for lateral entry B.Tech and B.Pharm?
Lateral entry papers test diploma or B.Sc level topics, depending on your qualification.
- LE B.Tech (Diploma), 120 questions: Engineering Mathematics (complex numbers, matrices, trigonometry, vectors, calculus, differential equations, probability), Engineering Mechanics (forces and moments, friction, centroid, kinematics) and Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering (AC and DC circuits, machines, measuring instruments, electronic devices and circuits, communication basics), 40 questions each.
- LE B.Tech (B.Sc), 60 questions: Mathematics at +2 level (30), Physics at +3 level (15: mechanics, oscillations, electromagnetism, optics, quantum and solid state physics, electronics) and Chemistry at +3 level (15: physical, inorganic and organic chemistry).
- LE B.Pharm, 60 questions: Part I and Part II of the Diploma in Pharmacy syllabus under the Pharmacy Council of India Education Regulations, 1991.
What is the OJEE syllabus for MCA, MBA and Integrated MBA?
The MCA paper has Mathematics and Computer Awareness, and the MBA papers test four aptitude areas.
- MCA, 120 questions: Mathematics (60) at the +2 level, and Computer Awareness (60) covering computer basics and history, components and classification, number systems and base conversion, and an introduction to algorithms and programming languages.
- MBA, 120 questions: Quantitative Techniques, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Comprehension, and General Awareness and Business Fundamentals, 30 questions each.
- Integrated MBA, 60 questions: the same four areas, 15 questions each.
What is the OJEE syllabus for M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, M.Plan and B.CAT?
PG papers follow the qualifying degree, and B.CAT tests general aptitude.
- M.Tech, 90 questions: branch subject (60), Engineering Mathematics (20) and Analytical and Logical Reasoning (10). Branches are Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science and IT, Electrical, Electronics, Environmental, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Plastic and Textile Engineering.
- M.Pharm, 60 questions: the BPUT B.Pharm course.
- M.Arch, 90 questions: Architecture (60), including design, history, building construction, city planning and building bye-laws, plus Reasoning (30).
- M.Plan, 90 questions: Planning (60), including planning theory and techniques, land use, surveys and base maps, plus Analytical and Logical Reasoning (30).
- B.CAT, 60 questions: English, Everyday Science, General Knowledge and Reasoning, 15 each.
What is the OJEE 2027 exam pattern and marking?
Every OJEE paper is a computer-based multiple-choice test in English, with 4 marks for a correct answer and 1 mark deducted for a wrong one. Nursing papers have 100 questions of 1 mark each with no negative marking.

How to Prepare for OJEE 2027
Start from the official syllabus of your course and practise in a timed, computer-based format.
- Revise NCERT Class 11 and 12 books for B.Pharm, and your diploma or degree notes for lateral entry and PG papers.
- Solve OJEE previous year papers to learn the question style and level.
- Take full-length timed tests, since most papers allow about one minute per question.
- Skip questions you are unsure of, as each wrong answer costs 1 mark.
- Answer at least one question in every section, or you will not get a rank.
