Applications for PGIMER Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2027 are expected in June 2027.
- Open pgimer.edu.in and find the B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years) and (Post Basic) admission notice under Forthcoming Examinations.
- Read the prospectus, then open the online application link and register for B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic). Submit only one form, as duplicate forms are all cancelled.
- Fill in your personal, Class 12, GNM and nursing council registration details and choose your exam city. Cities are allotted first come, first served.
- Upload your photo, signature and coloured, self-attested scans of your Class 10 certificate, Class 12 marksheet, GNM marksheets of all three years, GNM diploma and registration certificate, plus your category, PwBD or NOC papers if they apply.
- Pay the fee online by debit card, credit card or net banking. PGIMER advises against paying by UPI.
- Submit the form and keep a printout until admissions are over. Employed candidates also send the printout through their employer within 20 days of the closing date.

Who can apply for PGIMER Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2027?
GNM-qualified nurses who are registered as nurse and midwife can apply, and the course is open to both men and women. These are the 2026 prospectus rules, and you must meet them by the last date of the application form; check the 2027 prospectus when it comes out.
- Education: passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
- GNM: passed General Nursing and Midwifery with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Registration: Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) with a State Nursing Council approved by the Indian Nursing Council. Male nurses may hold the substitute registration for nursing of men, women and children.
- Age: not more than 45 years on 1 September of the admission year. For 2026 this meant being born on or after 1 September 1981, with relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and other reserved categories as per rules.
- Employed nurses outside PGIMER must upload a no-objection certificate (NOC) from their employer with the form, or the form is rejected.
- PwBD reservation is open to candidates with locomotor disability of 40% to 50% of the lower limbs, certified by a board that includes a nursing expert. Colour-blind candidates are eligible if lenses or spectacles correct it.
What is the PGIMER Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2027 exam pattern?
