RPVT 2027 is not expected to be held. Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner, last conducted the Rajasthan Pre-Veterinary Test on 3 August 2025. B.V.Sc. & A.H. seats in Rajasthan’s veterinary colleges are now filled on NEET UG merit through RAJUVAS counselling, so you need NEET UG 2027, expected in May 2027.

Is RPVT 2027 being held?
No RPVT 2027 has been announced, and none is expected. RAJUVAS held the last Rajasthan Pre-Veterinary Test on 3 August 2025. Its public notice of 9 March 2026 said B.V.Sc. & A.H. seats for 2026-27 would be filled on NEET (UG) 2026 merit, and its B.V.Sc. page now lists NEET UG as the only admission route.
So if you want a veterinary seat in Rajasthan in 2027, prepare for NEET UG 2027, which follows the same Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus that RPVT used. After the NEET result, you register separately for RAJUVAS counselling; NEET’s own MCC counselling does not fill these seats.

No 2027-28 dates are out yet. The table shows the expected NEET UG 2027 dates and the expected RAJUVAS counselling window, based on 2026, when registration ran from 13 to 22 September.

What is the status of B.V.Sc. 2026-27 counselling in Rajasthan?
The first round is over and later rounds are on hold. Allotment letters for round 1 came out on 25 September 2026, and candidates reported at CVAS Bikaner on 29 September (state quota) and 30 September (management quota). RAJUVAS has since published lists of provisionally admitted candidates.
On 3 October 2026 RAJUVAS postponed the 2nd round, which was due for allotment on 3 October and reporting on 7 and 8 October, until further orders. The original 3rd round dates (allotment 12 October, reporting 21 and 22 October) are also likely to move. New dates will be posted only on the RAJUVAS admission page; no individual messages are sent.
How to Apply for RPVT 2027 (RAJUVAS B.V.Sc. Counselling)
You apply in two stages: first for NEET UG 2027 with NTA, then for RAJUVAS counselling once the university opens online registration, expected in September 2027. The registration window opens only once, so a NEET score alone does not put you in the merit list.
Apply Online for RPVT 2027
Applications for RPVT 2027 are expected in February 2027.
- Apply for NEET UG 2027 on NTA’s website and qualify the exam.
- Watch rajuvas.ac.in for the B.V.Sc. & A.H. 2027-28 admission notice and information booklet.
- Register on the RAJUVAS pre-admission portal with your NEET details, and pay the non-refundable registration fee online.
- Fill and lock your choices of college and seat type (regular, payment or management). Locked choices cannot be changed.
- Submit a separate registration form if you want both state quota and management quota seats.
- Download your allotment letter after each round and report in person at CVAS Bikaner with original documents and the fee.

The registration form cannot be edited or withdrawn after submission, so check your gender, category, domicile, PwD or defence status and choices before you pay.
Who can apply for RPVT 2027 B.V.Sc. admission?
You can apply if you have qualified NEET UG and meet the education and age rules on RAJUVAS’s B.V.Sc. page and in the 2026-27 booklet.
- Class 12 or equivalent with pass marks in each subject and at least 50% in the aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for SC and ST).
- At least 17 years old on or before 31 December of the admission year. There is no upper age limit.
- NEET UG qualified for that year.
- State quota seats (constituent colleges and private colleges): Rajasthan domicile only, with a digital Rajasthan domicile certificate.
- Management quota seats in private colleges and NRI seats in constituent colleges are also open to candidates from other states.
Under VCI rules, candidates with more than 50% disability of the body or lower limb, any upper-limb disability, visual or hearing disability, or progressive diseases are not admitted to B.V.Sc. & A.H.
How many B.V.Sc. seats does RAJUVAS counselling fill?
The 2026-27 seat matrix has 1,123 seats in RAJUVAS counselling across 3 constituent and 11 private veterinary colleges.

Each constituent college has 100 seats: 50 regular, 45 payment and 5 NRI. VCI fills 15 of the regular seats through its 15% All India quota, which is why 35 regular seats per college go to state counselling.
How are B.V.Sc. state quota seats reserved in Rajasthan?
State quota seats follow the Rajasthan reservation policy, and at least 25% of the seats in each category go to girls.

Candidates from other states on management quota seats are treated as unreserved. Under a state order of 7 September 2026, state quota seats still vacant after three rounds may be offered to other-state candidates on management quota terms.
What are the B.V.Sc. fees at RAJUVAS and private colleges?
Fees depend on the seat type; these are the 2026-27 figures from the information booklet.

On regular seats the 4th professional year costs Rs 34,680 for General boys and Rs 12,680 for others, paid in two instalments. The first year’s fee is paid at the time of admission, as stated in the allotment letter.
What documents do you need for RAJUVAS B.V.Sc. counselling?
- Original photo ID with one self-attested photocopy
- NEET UG confirmation page, admit card and scorecard
- Printout of your RAJUVAS online registration form and the seat allotment letter
- Class 10, Class 11 and Class 12 marksheets, and Class 10 and 12 certificates
- Character certificate and transfer certificate from the last institution; migration certificate if available
- Digital Rajasthan domicile certificate, and digital caste or EWS certificate if you claim a reserved seat
- Disability certificate from a Rajasthan government medical college board (not older than three months), if you claim a PwD seat
- Four colour photographs matching the NEET photograph, and one self-attested set of all documents
After provisional admission you must also give a physical fitness certificate from a medical jurist of a government hospital or medical college. Missing originals on the reporting day can cost you the seat.
What is the expected RPVT 2027 cut off?
There is no RPVT cut off for 2027, because seats now go by NEET UG rank and the closing rank depends on each counselling round. For reference, here are the qualifying marks of RPVT 2025, the last test, from RAJUVAS’s official cut-off notice (marks out of 720).

For 2027, the qualifying standard is the NEET UG 2027 qualifying percentile set by NTA.

Only a few RPVT papers are available, and RAJUVAS does not publish question papers on its website. You can still use them to practise Physics, Chemistry and Biology questions at RPVT level.
