How are RULET 2027 seats filled?
Admission is on merit out of 350 marks: the written test (300, plus any weightage), group discussion (25) and personal interview (25). The college has 120 seats plus 12 EWS seats, which are 10% over and above as per BCI norms, all in the self-financing (SFS) scheme.
- After the written test, four candidates per seat in each category are called for GD and PI. Everyone tied on the last cut-off mark is also called.
- The final result ranks candidates on their total out of 350.
- Seats are filled through admission lists with document verification; in 2026 there were three lists and a waiting list.
Ties are broken by higher written-test marks without weightage, then Class 12 marks, then Class 10 marks, and then the older candidate.
