Which seats are filled through Telangana NEET PG counselling?
KNRUHS fills the Competent Authority Quota (CAQ) MD, MS and PG Diploma seats of medical colleges affiliated to it and of NIMS Hyderabad. The All India Quota share of government colleges goes through MCC NEET PG counselling, and this notification does not cover management or NRI quota seats.
The number of CAQ seats for 2026-27 will be put on the KNRUHS website before web options open. Seats are reserved as follows (2026-27 prospectus):

Reservation is given only on a Telangana caste certificate issued in 2026. PwD candidates must also appear before the KNRUHS medical board on the dates shown on the university website.
How to apply for Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2026?
You register once on tspgmed.tsche.in, pay the fee and upload scanned original certificates between 15 and 23 October 2026. KNRUHS uses this single registration for every counselling phase and issues no separate call for certificate verification, so upload everything now.
Apply Online for Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2026
The Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2026 application window (15 to 23 October 2026) has closed.
- Open the registration portal on a computer (the prospectus says not to apply on a mobile or tablet).
- Complete Mobile and Email Registration by entering the OTPs sent to both.
- Fill the candidate registration form and pay the registration fee online by debit card, credit card or net banking. Your registration number is sent to your mobile and email.
- Log in with your NEET PG roll number and registration number, fill the application and upload your photo and signature (JPG, under 100 KB each).
- Upload the scanned certificates (PDF, under 500 KB each), then print the filled application form.
- Check the provisional and final merit list on the KNRUHS website, then exercise web options when each phase is notified.

The fee is not refunded or carried forward. If a failed payment is followed by a second successful one, email [email protected]; the extra amount is refunded only after admissions close.
Which documents do you need to upload?
The mandatory uploads are the ones that prove your NEET PG result, MBBS, internship, registration and Telangana local status.
- NEET PG 2026 admit card and scorecard
- MBBS provisional or original degree certificate and MBBS study certificates
- Study certificates from Class 6 to Intermediate or Class 12 (for local status)
- Internship completion certificate (internship to be completed by 30 September 2026)
- Permanent registration certificate from the Telangana State Medical Council
- Aadhaar as photo identity proof, passport size photo and signature
- If applicable: 2026 caste certificate (BC/SC/ST), minority certificate, service certificate issued after 1 September 2026 for in-service candidates, PG Diploma certificate
Applications without the mandatory certificates, photo or signature are rejected automatically.
Who can apply for Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2026?
Only Telangana local candidates who qualified NEET PG 2026 and hold an MBBS from a Telangana institution can apply. Candidates from other states are not eligible for CAQ seats.
- Indian national, Person of Indian Origin or OCI card holder.
- Local candidate: studied in Telangana for at least four consecutive years ending with the year of the qualifying exam (G.O.Ms.No.148, 28 October 2024). A candidate admitted to MBBS in Telangana under the non-local quota is not a local candidate.
- MBBS or equivalent from a Telangana medical institution or Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, recognised by NMC.
- Permanent registration with the Telangana State Medical Council and internship completed by 30 September 2026.
- For in-service candidates, government service is counted as on 30 September 2026.

How does seat allotment work after registration?
KNRUHS ranks registered candidates on NEET PG 2026 rank and then allots seats through web options in phases. Only candidates who register and upload certificates appear on the state merit list.
- Officials scrutinise the uploaded certificates and KNRUHS publishes the provisional and then the final state merit list.
- The CAQ seat matrix is displayed before web options open.
- You exercise web options for each phase as notified on the KNRUHS website.
- If you get a seat, pay the university fee of Rs 35,000 online and download the allotment letter.
- Report to the allotted college with the printed application, original certificates and a set of self-attested copies for final verification. Any mismatch cancels the allotment.
Tuition for CAQ seats is as notified by the Government of Telangana for clinical, para-clinical and pre-clinical courses.
What bonds apply after joining a PG medical seat in Telangana?
Every admitted candidate signs bonds on Rs 100 non-judicial stamp paper at joining.
