TISSNET will be declared TISSNET 2019 Result after the examination. Students can check their result using their email id and password given to them while registering. The students who will be shortlisted for further rounds on the basis of their performance in TISSNET. The qualified candidates called for PIT and PI round and the final selection. TISSNET 2019 Result

In the written examination, the candidates have been selected on the basis of the cutoff. The cut off is 35% for SC and ST candidates and 45 % for others. The important dates for TISSNET 2019 result and further rounds are as below:

Application form for PIT and PI after declaration of TISSNET result

Congratulations to all the qualifying candidates. You will now be called for Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and a Personal Interview (PI) round. However, you need to apply for it. The application form will be available from the 3rd week of February and you need to fill it and carry its print out to PIT/PI center.

How to Check TISSNET 2019 Result

The result has been announced as TISSNET Scorecard. The candidates can check the result by and download the scorecard by following the simple steps below:

  • Access the link provided above.
  • You will be directed to a new window, which will look as shown below.
  • In the appropriate space, enter your e-mail Id and password.
  • Click on the ‘Login’ button.
  • Check and download your TISSNET Result 2019.

Details that will appear on Score Card of TISSNET 2019

After they have logged in and downloaded the score card, applicants will be able to see following details on it:

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Candidate’s Roll number
  • Registration number
  • Score/ Marks obtained
  • Qualified/Not qualified

TISSNET 2019 Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected for various programmes after they have passedtwo-stagee selection procedure. This 2 stage selection process has 3 main components included. Out of all the students appearing for TISSNET, only those candidates are called for Pre-Interview Test and Personal Interview who have cleared the written exam.

The score distribution for TISSNET 2019 Exam is illustrated in the table below:

Note: There is no negative marking for any programme.

TISSNET 2019 PIT and PI

After candidate has passed the TISSNET written exam, he/ she will be considered eligible for PIT and PI. The candidates who have opted for campuses of Mumbai, BALM and Chennai are required to attend PIT and PI at Mumbai Campus. On the other hand, for all the programmes at Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses, applicant needs to attend PIT and PI at respective campuses.

Important: In case applicant has applied for more than one campus, he/she has to attend PIT/ PI by traveling to the selected campuses.

Pattern of PIT (Pre-Interview Test)

Here a group of candidates are provided with 2 topics for Group Discussion. They have to come to consensus and start discussing on one topic. All the soft core skills like communication skills, leadership quality, teamwork and ability to perform under stress are tested her. According to the performance marks are alloted out of 50.

Pattern of PI

In this process candidate has to represent himself/ herself in front of panel of interviewers. Basic questions about the candidate is asked to know more about skills, experience, educational background and communication skills. Finally, marks are allotted out of 50.

TISSNET 2019 Merit List / Final Result

Certain weightage is given to each round for both General and Reserved List while preparing merit list. Following are the details which candidates can see in order to understand

  • NET- 40%
  • PIT- 30%
  • PI- 30%

Final merit list will be made on the basis of marks scored and the preferences indicated by candidates while filing the application form.

If there is a tie in TISSNET 2019 Results, below mentioned procedure is followed to find the candidate who is to be given preference:

  • Personal Interview (PI) marks scored by candidates will be compared. Candidate with higher marks will be considered.
  • If PI marks are also same Pre-Interview Test (PIT) marks will be compared.
  • If PIT marks also comes out to be equal TISSNET 2019 marks will be taken into consideration.
  • If anyhow, that also comes to be same, candidate with higher age will be given preference.

TISSNET 2019 Waiting List preparation

Waiting list is prepared after candidates are alloted seats in programmes in order of their preference. Applicants who makes to the waiting list are the one who have not got admission in the programme as per their first preference.

Complete details for preparing waiting list is discussed below:

  • If a candidate gets admission based on the first preference in their application form, he/she will not be put into waiting list for other programmes.
  • Candidate who got admission in programme which he/she had marked as second preference will be put into waiting list of first preference only.
  • Applicant who got admission into the programme of third preference will be put into the waiting list of first and second preference both.
  • If a candidate gets admission in 2 programmes during the time of preparation of waiting list, in that case higher preference will be considered only.

Provisional Allotment after Final Result

After PIT and PI has been conducted merit list is prepared. All the candidates who make up to the merit list are required to send scanned copies of documents like Scorecard, Paid fees challan, Bachelor’s Degree, Acceptance letter and SC/ST/OBC caste and income certificates for students of these categories.
