What is the UCEED Entrance Exam?
The UCEED stands for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design. For this cycle the exam is organised by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and is a National level Design entrance exam for admission to B.Des programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur for the academic year 2026. Application Form – Registration
The application form was released by IIT Bombay on 01 October 2025 at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The registration window with regular fee closed on 05 November 2025, while applications with a late fee of INR 500 were accepted till 10 November 2025 up to 05:00 pm. Eligible candidates had to enter accurate personal and academic details, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee online. For application correction, candidates could use the edit window provided by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay as per the official schedule.

Eligibility Criteria
To appear for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design, candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions specified by IIT Bombay. The key eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Age Limit: Candidates in OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL categories must be born on or after 01 October 2001. For SC, ST and PwD candidates, the eligible date of birth is on or after 01 October 1996.
- Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed Class XII (or equivalent) for the first time in 2025 or be appearing in 2026. Candidates from any academic stream (Science, Commerce, Arts/Humanities) are eligible.

The window for submitting objections on the draft answer key was open till 22 January 2026, 05:00 pm. The official answer keys are released only for Part-A.
