Haryana NEET Counselling 2026 Important Dates
Rounds 1 and 2 of the 2026 counselling are over, and Round 3 seats were allotted on 12 October 2026. Round 3 joining closes at 4:00 PM on 17 October 2026. UHSR has not announced a stray vacancy round so far. The 2027 counselling is expected around August 2027, after the NEET UG 2027 result.

Which seats are filled through Haryana NEET counselling?
UHSR fills the state counselling seats of all government, aided, private and private-university colleges in Haryana; the 15% All India Quota of government colleges goes to MCC. The Government of Haryana notification of 27 August 2026 sets these seat types.

5% of state quota seats are reserved for candidates with benchmark disabilities. For All India Quota seats, register separately in MCC NEET counselling. Candidates who joined an AIQ seat up to Round 3 are weeded out before the state round.
How to apply for Haryana NEET Counselling 2026?
You register once on the UHSR counselling portal, pay the registration fee and lock your choices. Fresh registration was also allowed before Rounds 2 and 3.
Apply Online for Haryana NEET Counselling 2026
The Haryana NEET Counselling 2026 application window (28 to 31 August 2026) has closed.
- Open the UHSR MBBS/BDS counselling portal during a registration window. In 2026, Round 3 registration ran from 28 September to 10 October.
- Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number and application number, and verify the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email.
- Fill the form with your category, residence and other details, and upload the documents asked for.
- Pay the non-refundable registration fee online. Choice filling opens only after the payment is reconciled.
- For Rounds 2 and 3, give your willingness and pay the security amount in your login.
- Add colleges and courses in order of preference, save and lock them, and print the locked choices.

The security is adjusted against the first-year fee if you join. It is forfeited if you are allotted a seat and do not pay the fee, verify documents or join.
How to log in to the Haryana MBBS/BDS counselling portal?
You log in to edit your form, pay the security, give willingness for a round, fill choices, pay the provisional tuition fee and see your allotment.
- Open the official login page and select Applicant Login.
- Enter the login details sent to your registered email and mobile number after registration.
- Check the latest public notices and the status of your registration.
- Use the options in your login for willingness, security, choices or fee payment while that window is open.
- After document verification, download the provisional admission letter from your login.

Who can apply for Haryana NEET Counselling 2026?
You must be an Indian citizen who meets the NEET UG 2026 qualifying criteria in the NTA bulletin and the NMC or NDC rules. State quota seats also need a Haryana link.
- State quota and open merit seats in private colleges: bona fide residents of Haryana with a Haryana Residence Certificate as per the notification.
- Candidates who passed the qualifying exam from a school or college in Haryana count as residents; a certificate from the head of that institution is enough.
- Others can qualify as children of Haryana Government employees or pensioners, people living in Haryana for at least 15 years, or those born in Haryana.
- If you passed Class 12 outside Haryana and claim residence, you need a parent’s affidavit that you have not taken residence benefit in another state.
- Management quota seats are open to candidates from all over India.
- NRI quota needs NEET qualification; OCI, PIO and foreign nationals can also apply.
Haryana uses its own categories: Open, Other SC (OSC), SC Deprived, BCA, BCB, EWS, PwBD and ESM/FF. BCA, BCB and EWS certificates must be issued on or after 1 April 2026.

What is the MBBS fee in Haryana, and is there a bond?
Fees are fixed in the 2026 notification and paid first through the admission portal. These are the main annual tuition fees.

Government college MBBS students sign a service bond of Rs 30 lakh minus the fees paid: Rs 25,77,090 for men and Rs 23,19,381 for women. Separately, anyone who leaves the course midway pays Rs 10 lakh and is barred from MBBS/BDS admission in Haryana for 3 years.
How do the counselling rounds and upgrades work?
Each round has registration and choice locking, a provisional allotment, online fee payment, document verification at UHSR Rohtak and joining.
- Allotment follows NEET UG 2026 rank, your category, the seat matrix and your locked choices.
- You must appear in person, with original documents, before the Admission Committee at UHSR Rohtak. No one can appear on your behalf.
- Choices from an earlier round are void; you fill fresh choices for every round.
- If you joined a seat and want a better one, give upgrade willingness in your login. If you get an upgrade, your earlier seat is cancelled.
- A candidate allotted a seat in Round 3 who does not join loses the security and cannot take part in a further or stray round.
- Candidates holding an All India Quota or other state seat up to Round 3 are not eligible for further rounds.
What documents do you need for Haryana NEET counselling?
Bring these originals with one set of photocopies to document verification, as listed in the UHSR notice of 9 September 2026.

- Class 10 or 12 certificate as proof of date of birth
- Character certificate from the institution last attended
- Haryana Resident or bona fide resident certificate, if claimed
- Caste certificate; BCA/BCB non-creamy layer or EWS income and asset certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026
- Disability certificate from an NTA-notified centre, ESM or freedom fighter certificate, if claimed
- Photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, passport, voter ID or Parivar Pehchan Patra
- Printout of the application form, proof of provisional tuition fee payment and three passport-size photos
