How to Apply for ULSAT 2027
You apply online on the UPES admission portal, which is open for the 2027 intake. There is no offline form.

The ULSAT 2027 application dates have not been announced yet.
- Open the UPES admission portal and register with your mobile number. The applicant login uses an OTP sent to that number.
- Fill in the application form, choose the 5-year LL.B. programme and select ULSAT as your admission route.
- Pay the application fee online and note the application number the portal gives you.
- Before the test, run the official system check on the device you will use, preferably a laptop or desktop with a webcam.
- A day before your exam date, look for the exam link and passkey that UPES sends to your registered email and mobile number.
UPES has not published the ULSAT 2027 application fee on its official pages, so check the amount on the portal before you pay. For help, UPES lists the toll-free number 1800-102-8737 (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and [email protected].
Who can apply for ULSAT 2027?
You need at least 50% marks in Class 10 and in Class 12, which is the only threshold on the official ULSAT 2027 page. It does not set an age limit.
Admission through ULSAT is for the 5-year integrated LL.B. at UPES School of Law in Dehradun, offered as BA LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA LL.B. (Hons.).
What is the ULSAT 2027 exam pattern?
ULSAT is a 2-hour online test of 150 multiple choice questions with no negative marking. You take it from home under webcam and audio proctoring.

- You can log in at any time between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on your exam date. The 2 hours start when you begin the test.
- You log in with your application number, date of birth (DD/MM/YY) and the passkey sent a day before the exam.
- You need a working webcam and microphone, the latest Google Chrome and a stable internet connection.
- UPES says a demo test will be offered; on its ULSAT page the demo link is still marked as to be announced.
Can you join the UPES 5-year LL.B. without ULSAT 2027?
Yes. UPES admits LL.B. students through ULSAT, CLAT-UG 2027, board merit or CUET-UG 2027. Its ULSAT page lists the 2027 qualifying scores, CLAT rank limit and board-merit percentage as to be announced.
The separate UPES important dates page currently shows a non-exam route for the LL.B. (5-year): CLAT AIR (General) up to 20,000 with at least 50% in Class 10 and 12, or board merit with at least 60% in Class 10 and 12 and English as a compulsory subject. Confirm the final 2027 figures with UPES before you rely on them.
