Rounds 1, 2 and 3 are over, and the Round 3 result was declared on 12 October 2026, three days after the scheduled 9 October because HNBUMU waited for the MCC weed-out list. A stray vacancy round, if any, will be notified separately.

Which seats are filled through Uttarakhand NEET UG counselling?
HNBUMU fills state quota MBBS and BDS seats in every college, plus All India open quota and NRI seats in the private colleges. All India Quota seats of government colleges and AIIMS Rishikesh are filled by MCC, not HNBUMU.

For the 15% All India Quota and AIIMS Rishikesh, register separately in MCC NEET counselling. Candidates admitted through MCC are weeded out before each Uttarakhand round.
How to register for Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026?
You register online on the HNBUMU counselling portal in each round, pay the fee and fill fresh choices. A round in which you do not register and fill choices gives you no seat.
Apply Online for Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026
The Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026 application window (13 to 24 August 2026) has closed.
- Open the UK NEET UG counselling portal during the registration window of a round.
- Register with your NEET UG 2026 details and mobile number, and verify the code sent to your phone.
- Fill the online form: Class 10 and 12 states, domicile, category, sub-category, PwD and WKM details, and your bank account for refunds.
- Upload your photo and signature (the same as in your NEET UG 2026 form) and the required certificates.
- Pay the registration fee and security deposit online by card or net banking.
- Fill your college choices in order of preference, save and lock them, and print the submitted form.

If you choose more than one type of college, the higher security applies. Registered candidates of earlier rounds re-register without paying again. The security is refunded about 30 days after counselling ends, unless it is forfeited.
How to log in to the Uttarakhand NEET UG counselling portal?
You use the portal login to fill or edit your form and choices, see your provisional allotment and download the allotment letter.
- Open the official login page, also linked from the HNBUMU website.
- Under Applicant Login, enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number.
- Enter your date of birth as given in your NEET UG application.
- Select Login to see your form, choices and round-wise allotment status, and download your allotment letter.

Who can apply for Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2026?
You must be an Indian citizen who has qualified NEET UG 2026 and meets the Class 12 marks rule. State quota seats also need an Uttarakhand link.
- Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English, with at least 50% in PCB (40% for SC, ST, OBC; 45% for General-PwD and EWS-PwD).
- Age as per the NEET UG 2026 rules of NTA and NMC.
- State quota: an Uttarakhand domicile holder (schooled anywhere), or a non-domicile candidate who passed both Class 10 and 12 in Uttarakhand. Non-domicile candidates get no reservation.
- Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and sub-categories needs certificates issued in Uttarakhand. For 2026, certificates issued after 5 October 2026 are not accepted.
- All India open quota seats in private colleges are open to every NEET UG 2026 qualified candidate.

A lower fee with a service bond is offered only at the Srinagar Garhwal and Almora government colleges. College-wise fees are on the counselling portal.
How do rounds, Freeze and Float work in UK NEET UG counselling?
After each allotment you choose Freeze (keep the seat and join physically) or Float (keep the seat and try for a better one next round, with online document checks).
- Round 1 is a free exit round: you can skip the allotted seat without losing your security.
- In Rounds 2 and 3 you can still exit, but you lose your security deposit.
- If you get an upgraded seat, your earlier seat is cancelled automatically.
- No resignation is allowed from a Round 3 seat.
- A stray round seat must be joined. If you do not join, the bulletin says you lose your security and are debarred from the next session’s NEET and counselling.
- If you pick neither Freeze nor Float by the deadline, your seat is cancelled.
What happens after the Round 3 result?
Download your allotment letter from the portal, upload your documents and join the allotted college. The Round 3 schedule set 14 October 2026 as the last date of joining; follow the date printed on your allotment letter if it differs.

What documents do you need for admission?
Carry these originals to the allotted college, as listed in the 2026 information bulletin.
- Allotment letter and proof of advance tuition fee payment
- Class 10 certificate (age proof), Class 12 certificate and mark sheet
- NEET UG 2026 admit card and result or rank letter
- Uttarakhand domicile certificate (for domicile candidates)
- Category and sub-category certificates, if claimed
- PwD certificate from an NMC-designated medical board, if claimed
- WKM certificates, if claimed, and a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar or passport
- Demand draft for the remaining fee, as asked by the college
