WBJEE JEEDEC Counselling 2021
WBJEEB has released the merit list and scheduled the Physical verification cum Admission test on September 16, 2021. Candidates will have to attend physically at TEQIP building. The counselling will be conducted by Jadavpur University. Candidates must register themselves for the counselling round and attend on the allotted date and center to reserve the seat. At the time of counseling verification of documents will be done. Therefore, candidates must carry all the documents at the counselling time. Those candidates who will not register themselves will not be able to sit in the counselling.

Documents required for Verification
Provisional admission will be offered after verification of relevant original documents only in the
admission procedure (offline).
- 5 (five) copies of passport size photograph with full frontal view (same as used for
online application) - A printout of the On-Line Application Form
- Admit-card / Certificate of Secondary (or equivalent) Examination for Date of Birth
Proof - Mark sheet of Secondary or equivalent (Class-X) Examination
- Mark-sheet and Certificate of Higher Secondary or equivalent (Class-XII)
Examination, if applicable - Final Mark-sheet and Certificate of Diploma in Engineering Examination
- Valid SC/ST/OBC(A)/OBC(B) Certificate issued by the Government of West Bengal
in case ‘candidate category’ is SC / ST / OBC(A) /OBC(B) - Valid PwD (Person with Disability) Certificate issued by the competent authority
incase ‘PwD category’ is ‘Yes’. - Admit card of Entrance Examination duly signed by the Invigilator.
- Diploma mark-sheets of appearing candidates are to be submitted by 30th November

Mark-sheet are to be submitted for verification] - Family Income Certificate from the competent authority
WBJEE JEEDEC Merit List 2021
JEEDEC Result/ Merit list has been released by WBJEEB on the basis of the performance in the Entrance Examination. The modalities of entrance examination will be published / informed in due time. In case of any tie in the merit list prepared on the basis of the above criteria, the following parameter may be used in the given order to break such tie.
- Percentage aggregate marks of secondary or equivalent examination (in case of the mark sheet having the marks in grade system, it MUST be converted to equivalent percentage marks by using the formula of the respective board)
- Date of Birth (Person born earlier will get higher preference)
WBJEE JEEDEC 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of the course before filling the application form. Applicants can read the eligibility criteria from below:
Nationality – The candidate should be a citizen of India.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Applicant must have passed diploma examination from the UGC recognized Indian University / Government / Statutory Body in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point (at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD).
- In case final result is published in the Grade Point system only, then the same must be converted to equivalent percentage marks. Conversion of Grade Point to Percentage of Marks, if required, should be done by the applicant during filling up of the form using, either –
- The conversion formula of the concerned board/university, if any such is available, OR
- By the AICTE advised formula, as Percentage marks = (Grade Point – 0.75) × 10 when Grade Point is in a scale of 10.
- In case, the Grade Point is not in a scale of 10, the obtained Grade Point is to be converted to Grade Point in a scale of 10 in a pro rata basis.
- Final year students may also apply, but their admission (if selected) will not be processed unless they submit their final result by 30th November 2021.
WBJEE JEEDEC 2021 Application Form
Candidate has to register themselves first for applying to the course. After checking all the eligibility criteria candidates can fill the application form from the official website. Candidates must review the form before submitting it. While filling out the application form candidates must have scanned images of both, photograph and signature with them.
Fees: There is NO Application Fee for admission to UG programmes of FET of Jadavpur University. The candidates found eligible for admission need to pay Rs. 3860.00 (Rupees Three Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty only) as Admission Fee and charges for the First Year of study.

- The image of the candidate should be recent.
- Low quality images ( like taken from a mobile phone) will automatically result in rejection of the application form.
- The photograph should be taken in the subtle or light color background.
- Dark spectacles and tinted glasses should be avoided.
- Candidate face should occupy 50% of the photograph and it should be camera facing.
WBJEE JEEDEC 2021 Admit Card
After successfully submitting the application form candidate will be able to download the admit card as per the schedule from the official website with the help of Application Number and Password. Without admit card no candidate will be able to sit in the examination hall. Candidate must carry the hard copy of the downloaded admit card along with the colored photographs which must be identical to the photograph uploaded at the time of application form and one govt. issued ID like passport, aadhar it should be original and non – expired.
WBJEE JEEDEC 2021 Exam Pattern
Applicants must know the exam pattern to prepare for the exam. Candidates can read the exam pattern mentioned below:
Entrance examination will be conducted at Kolkata, Siliguri and Durgapore centre in physical mode.
Exam method: MCQ based questions & OMR based evaluation.
Calculator, Electronic gadgets, Mobile or, any Digital device will not be allowed in the examination hall.

WBJEE JEEDEC Selection Procedure 2021
WBJEE conducts entrance exam for admission to JEEDEC. Candidates have to qualify the WBJEE JEEDEC Entrance Exam only after then candidate will be able to sit for the next round which includes counselling. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of scores in the entrance exam. While, in WBJEE JEEDEC Counselling candidate have to bring all the original and self attested documents for the verification of documents round. Candidate who will pass both the rounds by qualifying all the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the course.
WBJEE JEEDEC Reservation 2021
The rules of the Government of the West Bengal will be followed at the time of admission in respect of reservation for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD candidates. Category seats will be reserved for only candidates from West Bengal. Candidates claiming for the reserve seats have to show the relevant certificate at the time of counselling.
