The JU Evening BE result 2027 (JEEDEC) comes as branch-wise merit lists that Jadavpur University publishes on its FET admission portal, not as individual scorecards. Listed candidates then report for document verification and provisional admission. In 2026 the test was waived and JU admitted candidates from a published list on 24 August 2026.

How is the JU Evening BE 2027 merit list prepared?
JU ranks candidates on entrance test marks, worked out from the final answer keys.
- A combined merit list is drawn up for each branch.
- Ties are broken by diploma percentage, then Class 10 (secondary) percentage, then date of birth, with the older candidate placed higher.
- Seats are then filled by merit within each category of the seat matrix.
- Being on the list does not guarantee admission; your documents and eligibility are checked first.
JU has not published cut-off marks or closing ranks for this programme.
