The JU Evening BE admit card 2027 (JEEDEC) is the entry pass for Jadavpur University’s entrance test for its 5-year evening BE, issued on the FET admission portal only if a test is held. No admit card was needed in 2026 because the test was waived. In 2024 they were scheduled two days before the exam.

Latest (17 August 2026): JU waived the 2026-27 entrance test set for 18 August 2026 and admitted listed candidates after document verification on 24 August 2026. The 2027-28 notice is not out yet.

How to Download the JU Evening BE 2027 Admit Card

You download the admit card from the JU FET admission portal after the 2027-28 notice confirms a test. The 2024 schedule set it for 3 September, two days before the 5 September test.

Open the JU FET admission portal.
Sign in with the login details you created when you applied.
Open the admit card link for the 5-year BE programmes for working professionals.
Check your name, photo, branch, roll number and the exam date, time and venue.
Download the admit card and print it on A4 paper. Keep a spare copy.

If any detail is wrong, write to the helpdesk email given in the notice before the exam day.

What should you carry to the JU Evening BE 2027 test?

Carry the printed admit card and a black or blue ballpoint pen; leave all gadgets at home.

Printed admit card. Get it signed by the invigilator, because JU asks for the signed admit card at admission.
Advised: the photo ID you uploaded with the application.
Black or blue ballpoint pen for the OMR sheet.
No calculator, mobile phone or other electronic or digital device; these are not allowed in the hall.

What are the JU Evening BE 2027 exam-day rules?

The rules below are printed on JEEDEC question booklets and in the 2024-25 brochure.

Write your roll number and booklet number in the marked places on the OMR sheet and sign it.
Fill one bubble per question completely with a black or blue ballpoint pen. More than one bubble counts as not answered.
Do not make stray marks on the OMR sheet or fold it; a damaged sheet may not be evaluated.
Do rough work only on the blank pages of the question booklet.
Hand the OMR sheet to the invigilator before you leave the hall.

Will there be a JU Evening BE admit card in 2027?

Only if JU holds an entrance test for 2027-28. In 2026 the test was waived, so no admit card was issued. The 2027-28 notice will make this clear.

Do I need the admit card after the test?

Yes. The 2024-25 brochure lists the admit card signed by the invigilator among the documents checked at admission.

Is the admit card sent by post?

JU has not mentioned posting admit cards. In 2024 candidates downloaded them from the online admission portal.
