AEEE 2019

AEEE 2019 – The online registration for AEEE 2019 has been started by Amrita University. The University is inviting online application for the B.Tech admission. The exam is conducted in computer-based and pen & paper mode. This year, AEEE 2019 CBT will be conducted from April 22-26, and P&P mode it will be held on April 27, 2019. Candidates who have qualified 10+2 with more than 60% aggregate in PCM will be able to apply from October 19, 2018. AEEE is only held for B.Tech admission. This year onwards, Amrita University will fill grant UG engineering seats on the basis of JEE Main 2019. The candidates can check all the important dates of AEEE 2019 from the table below.

AEEE 2019 Application Form

The application form for AEEE 2019 is available online. The process to apply for AEEE 2019 is as follows:

AEEE 2019 Online Application Form – To submit the application form online, the candidates will have to visit There, the candidates will have to create an account in application login by entering basic details such as name, mobile number, e-mail id, etc. Once done, the candidates will be able to access the application form and fill the details in it.

AEEE 2019 Application Fee – The amount of application fee is as follows:

The candidates can pay the application fee as above by either of the following modes:

AEEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria in order to get admission through AEEE 2019. The criteria of eligibility is as follows:

Age Limit: Candidate should have been born on or after July 01, 1998.

Education Qualification: The candidate must have:

  • Passed 10+2 / equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Also, in each subject, the score of the candidate should not be less than 55%.

AEEE 2019 Slot Booking and Center Allotment

Candidates will be able to submit three AEEE 2019 exam city choices in the application form. However, the facility to choose the center in a particular city will be provided through the slot booking portal. The slot booking for AEEE 2019 will be online and only for the online examination. In the booking, candidates will have to choose:

  • Test center
  • Test date
  • AEEE 2019 slot

AEEE 2019 Hall Ticket

The admit card of AEEE 2019 for the online and offline exam will be released separately. The candidates will be able to download it as explained below:

AEEE 2019 Hall Ticket (Online Exam) –  Candidates will have to book the slot. Once, the test date and session will be booked, candidates will be able to download the hall ticket.

AEEE 2019 Hall Ticket (Offline Exam) – Hall ticket for the offline examination will be issued through a separate login. It will open a few days after the issuance of online exam admit card. To download it, candidates will need application number and date of birth.

On the exam day, candidates need to carry admit card as a print copy. It should be in good condition and with it one photo id is also to be carried. Valid photo id card can be:

  • Aadhaar card
  • Voter id card
  • ID issued by school
  • Driving license
  • Passport
  • Any other document which proofs identity and is authentic

AEEE 2019 Exam Pattern

AEEE will be held in CBT and Pen & Paper mode but the pattern of both the examination will be the same. Even the level of difficulty will also be similar in both the examination. The pattern of AEEE 2019 is as follows:

Duration – 2 hours 30 minutes.
Question – 100 multiple type questions on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Answer Options – 4 for each question and only 1 will be correct.
Marks – 3 marks will be awarded for each answer. Negative marking of 1 mark will be done.

How to Prepare for AEEE 2019?

One of the most important parts of the preparation is to clear your concepts thoroughly. Only when your basic concepts are strong, you will understand the question and can proceed to solve it. Hence, you need to understand the concepts thoroughly. For this, you should follow the NCERT syllabus and a careful study of the NCERT textbooks will give you an edge while preparing for AEEE 2019.

Prepare as per the Section-wise weightage

As per various Experts and unofficial sources, the entrance test gives more weightage to Mathematics. Hence, you should have a good hold on the mathematics you had learned in the 10th, 11th and 12th standard. This will help you solve problems faster.

Apart from practicing sample papers, you should also attempt the mock test of AEEE 2019. The Univeristy starts a mock test facility for the candidates to familiarise them with the pattern, question type, user interface and the digital calculator provided.

Preparation Strategy for Exam Day

As stated earlier, during the examination, your focus should be to attempt only questions for which you know the answer. This will help you in scoring more by reducing the negative scores. AEEE 2019 will consist of questions of varying difficulty. Try to answer all the questions with difficulty level varying from easy to medium. It is best advised to the candidates to keep the questions with higher difficulty level to solve at the last. Furthermore, you should review the Hard questions before submitting the final answers.

AEEE 2019 Result

The exam conducting will publish the AEEE 2019 Result/ Rank List online at its website. The Rank list will be prepared on the basis of score obtained by the candidate in AEEE 2019. It is expected that the candidates shall be able to check their result online by the First week of May 2019. Other than AEEE score, the Univeristy will also consider the score obtained in JEE Main 2019 (January and April session). The candidates will then be shortlisted to appear for the AEEE 2019 Counselling.

AEEE 2019 Counselling

The counseling for the shortlisted candidates shall be held in the month of May/ June 2019. The eligibility candidates need to report as per the schedule which will be published at the University website. Those who will be eligible to appear for the counseling shall have to download the Call Letter. The AEEE 2019 Counselling will be arranged simultaneously in the three campuses namely Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore.

The candidates can appear for counseling in any of the three campuses and opt for a branch as per their preference. The AEEE 2019 Counselling involves three stages which are Registration, Document Verification, and Seat Allotment.

AEEE 2019 Fee Structure and Scholarship

After getting seat allotment, candidates are required to pay the balance fees to confirm the allotted seat within the deadline. The candidates shall have to pay the given fees after securing admission through AEEE 2019. The fees structure will differ according to the campus that the candidates have been allotted to. B.Tech Scholarship 2019

The candidates who will be admitted in the program for the academic session 2019 will be entitled for Amrita Vidyanidhi Scholarship based on their AEEE 2019 Rank. A Tuition fee waiver ranging from 90% to 25 % is awarded to the students, based on their rank at the time of the counseling.

A total of 300+ candidates will be selected for the scholarship at the time of admission. The scholarship will continue in subsequent years if the candidate obtains minimum required CGPA during subsequent years of study.
