AEEE 2019 Application Form

The application form for AEEE 2019 is available online. Before applying select the mode of admission in B.tech courses – JEE Main 2019 or AEEE 2019. Once your decision is final, follow the steps below:

AEEE 2019 Online Application Form – To submit the application form online, the candidates will have to visit www.amrita.edu. There, the candidates will have to create an account in application login by entering basic details such as name, mobile number, e-mail id, etc. Once done, the candidates will be able to access the application form and fill the details in it.

Amrita University B.Tech Admission Via JEE Main Too!

There something new this year in the way B.Tech admission was done in Amrita University. Not only on the basis of AEEE, but the admission in B.Tech courses is based on JEE Main 2019 scores too from 2019. Thus, there are 2 modes on B.Tech admission in Amrita University:

AEEE 2019

Admission via JEE Main: Applicants have to submit their JEE Rank as in Score Card for counselling. Rules and policies remains the same as AEEE candidates. The application form will remain open for editing until May 08, 2019 for the candidates to enter their JEE Main scores. 

AEEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil eligibility criteria in order to get admission through AEEE 2019. The criteria for eligibility are as follows:

Age Limit: Candidate should have been born on or after July 01, 1998.

Education Qualification: The candidate must have:

  • Passed 10+2 / equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Also, in each subject, the score of the candidate should not be less than 55%.

AEEE 2019 Online Ticketing System

This is a very convenient feature by the University. It has been noted that the students face many queries during the admission process. Using this system then can solve all those doubts easily. Here is all you need to know about it:

  • The Online Ticketing System is for only those students who have submitted their application successfully.
  • Through this, they can manage their queries related to login issue, payment issue, personal information update, admit card issue etc.

How to use the system?

Here are the steps to use the online ticketing system:

  1. Click here. On the new window click on the blue button that says “Open a new ticket”.
  2. On the next page register using the same email id that you have used for AEEE 2019 Application Form filling. You need to select the topic of your doubt from the dropdown tab available in the form and then click the “create ticket button”.
  3. After this step you will be asked to describe your doubt.
  4. On successful completion of the above step, the ticket is generated and a message is displayed as follows:
  • Each and every query is assigned a ticket number through which the students can know the status of the query and they can also update a ticket which was submitted earlier.

AEEE 2019 Mock Test

The School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is hosting its own Computer-based test portal. In that portal, the candidates can get used to the computer-based mode of the exam so as to practice for the exam using the online interface. Both the AEEE and JEE aspirants can take advantage of this portal to practice before the examination.

Candidates will be able to submit three AEEE 2019 exam city choices in the application form. However, the facility to choose the center in a particular city will be provided through the slot booking portal. The slot booking for AEEE 2019 will be online and only for the online examination. AEEE 2019 Admit Card / Hall Ticket

The admit card of AEEE 2019 for the online and offline exam will be released separately. The candidates will be able to download it as explained below:

  • AEEE 2019 Hall Ticket (Online Exam) –  Candidates will have to book the slot. Once, the test date and session will be booked, candidates will be able to download the hall ticket.
  • AEEE 2019 Hall Ticket (Offline Exam) – Hall ticket for the offline examination will be issued through a separate login. It will open a few days after the issuance of online exam admit card. To download it, candidates will need application number and date of birth.

On the exam day, candidates need to carry admit card as a print copy. It should be in good condition and with it, one photo id is also to be carried. Valid photo id card can be:

  1. Aadhaar card
  2. Voter id card
  3. ID issued by school
  4. Driving license
  5. Passport
  6. Any other document which proofs identity and is authentic

AEEE 2019 Exam Pattern

AEEE will be held in CBT and Pen & Paper mode but the pattern of both the examination will be the same. Even the level of difficulty will also be similar in both the examination. The pattern of AEEE 2019 is as follows:

Duration – 2 hours 30 minutes.
Question – 100 multiple type questions on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Answer Options – 4 for each question and only 1 will be correct.
Marks – 3 marks will be awarded for each answer. Negative marking of 1 mark will be done.

How to Prepare for AEEE 2019?

One of the questions which students generally ask is how to prepare for this entrance exam. Here we have compiled some of the preparation tips by the Experts. The candidates can take a look below and start their preparation accordingly.

  • Polish Your Basic Concept:

One of the most important parts of the preparation is to clear your concepts thoroughly. Only when your basic concepts are strong, you will understand the question and can proceed to solve it. Hence, you need to understand the concepts thoroughly. For this, you should follow the NCERT syllabus and a careful study of the NCERT textbooks will give you an edge while preparing for AEEE 2019.

  • Prepare As Per The section wise weightage:

As per various Experts and unofficial sources, the entrance test gives more weightage to Mathematics. Hence, you should have a good hold on the mathematics you had learned in the 10th, 11th and 12th standard. This will help you solve problems faster.

  • Accuracy Is The Key:

Accuracy is another key aspect to scoring a good score in the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination. Remember that the number of the wrong answer will affect your final score as there is negative marking, Hence, your focus should be to minimize negative markings by improving accuracy. Remember that the number of questions attempted is not important but the number of questions attempted correctly will shape your chances of qualifying the entrance examination. The Univeristy starts a mock test facility for the candidates to familiarise them with the pattern, question type, user interface and the digital calculator provided.

As stated earlier, during the examination, your focus should be to attempt only questions for which you know the answer. This will help you in scoring more by reducing the negative scores. AEEE 2019 will consist of questions of varying difficulty. Try to answer all the questions with difficulty level varying from easy to medium. It is best advised to the candidates to keep the questions with higher difficulty level to solve at the last. Furthermore, you should review the Hard questions before submitting the final answers.

AEEE 2019 Result

The exam conducting body will publish the AEEE 2019 Result/ Rank List online at its website. The Rank list will be prepared on the basis of score obtained by the candidate in AEEE 2019. It is expected that the candidates shall be able to check their result online by the First week of May 2019. Other than AEEE score, the University will also consider the score obtained in JEE Main 2019 (January and April session). Candidates will then be shortlisted to appear for the AEEE 2019 Counselling.

AEEE 2019 Counselling

The counseling for the shortlisted candidates shall be held in the month of May/ June 2019. The eligibility candidates need to report as per the schedule which will be published at the University website. Those who will be eligible to appear for the counseling shall have to download the Call Letter. The AEEE 2019 Counselling will be arranged simultaneously in the three campuses namely Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore.

The candidates can appear for counseling in any of the three campuses and opt for a branch as per their preference. The AEEE 2019 Counselling involves three stages which are Registration, Document Verification, and Seat Allotment.

AEEE 2019 Fee Structure and Scholarship

After getting seat allotment, candidates are required to pay the balance fees to confirm the allotted seat within the deadline. The candidates shall have to pay the given fees after securing admission through AEEE 2019. The fees structure will differ according to the campus that the candidates have been allotted to. B.Tech Scholarship 2019

The candidates who will be admitted in the B.tech program for the academic session 2019 will be entitled for Amrita Vidyanidhi Scholarship based on their AEEE 2019 Rank. A Tuition fee waiver ranging from 90% to 25 % is awarded to the students, based on their rank at the time of the counseling.

A total of 300+ candidates will be selected for the scholarship at the time of admission. The scholarship will continue in subsequent years if the candidate obtains minimum required CGPA during subsequent years of study.
