How to Check the AILET 2027 Result
- Go to the AILET 2027 portal after NLU Delhi announces the result.
- Log in with your registered email ID and password.
- Open your AILET 2027 scorecard.
- Check your marks, All India Rank and other details.
- Download and print the scorecard for counselling and admission.
What will the AILET 2027 scorecard show?

- Programme: B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) or LL.M.

- Total marks (out of 150 for B.A.LL.B., 100 for LL.M.)

How is the AILET 2027 merit list prepared?
NLU Delhi ranks candidates by total AILET marks. For B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), a tie is broken in this order:
- Higher marks in Logical Reasoning
- Older candidate
- Computerised draw of lots
For LL.M., ties go to the older candidate, then to a draw of lots. Seats are then offered category-wise, in merit order, only to candidates who complete counselling registration.
What is the expected AILET 2027 cut off?
NLU Delhi does not announce a cut-off mark. The latest reference is the closing All India Rank in the official AILET 2026 first provisional merit list for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), released on 8 January 2026.

Seats under PwD horizontal reservation went to much lower ranks, up to AIR 10,816 in the first list. Later lists, which ran to a seventh B.A.LL.B. list in August 2026, moved closing ranks further down. Source: AILET 2026 first merit list.
What happens after the AILET 2027 result?
After the result, NLU Delhi invites about three candidates per seat, category-wise, to register for online counselling. In 2026 registration ran from 19 to 27 December 2025.
- Register for counselling in your AILET login and pay the counselling fee. In 2026 it was Rs 30,000 for General and Rs 20,000 for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD candidates.
- Only registered candidates are placed in the provisional merit lists. Registration alone does not guarantee a seat.
- If selected, pay the provisional admission confirmation fee (Rs 50,000 in 2026) by the deadline and upload the signed offer letter and undertaking.
- The counselling fee is refunded if you do not get a seat or exit the process, and adjusted in your fee if you join.
- Bring original Class 10 and 12 mark sheets (and LLB mark sheets for LL.M.), a character certificate, a transfer certificate and any category certificate to admission.
