How to check the AMUEEE 2027 result?
You check the result on AMU’s results portal by choosing the engineering faculty and the B.Tech. course. No login is needed, as the lists are open PDFs. The steps are:
- Open the AMU admission results page.
- Select Faculty of Engineering & Technology.
- Select Undergraduate Programmes as the level.
- Select B.Tech. as the course and click Submit. Diploma in Engineering rank holders pick the separate B.Tech. / B.Arch. (Rank holders of Dip. in Engg) option.
- Open the Select, Chance Memo or Special Category list and search for your roll number.
- Save or print the page with your roll number and rank for counselling.
The result is prepared from the revised answer key, after the challenge window closes. See the AMUEEE 2027 answer key page to work out your likely score first.
What lists does AMU publish as the AMUEEE result?
AMU publishes the AMUEEE result as lists, not as individual scorecards. For B.Tech. in 2026-27 it issued these lists:
- Select List: candidates provisionally selected for counselling and admission, with ranks starting with S. It had 388 candidates in 2026-27.
- Chance Memo List: candidates who may get a seat if one falls vacant, with ranks starting with C. It had 900 Chance Memos in 2026-27.
- Special Category List: candidates called under the special categories claimed in the form, with a category code and rank. A $ means selected and a # means a Chance Memo in that category.
- Chance Memo II: a further Chance Memo list, issued for B.Tech. on 2 September 2026 to fill seats left vacant.
- A separate list for Diploma in Engineering rank holders.
A Chance Memo is not an offer of admission. Seats left after Select List admissions go to Chance Memo holders who report, strictly in Chance Memo number order. AMU sends no intimation letters, so you must check the lists and schedules yourself.
What does the AMUEEE 2027 merit list show?
The merit list shows only your roll number and rank, not your name, category or marks, along with the course, the session and the counselling instructions.
Is there an AMUEEE 2027 cut off or qualifying mark?
Yes, there is a qualifying mark: you need at least 20% marks in the admission test to be eligible for admission. This rule is from the 2026-27 Guide to Admissions.
AMU does not publish official cut-off marks or closing ranks for B.Tech. The firm lists show the branch allotted, not the last rank, so how far the Select and Chance Memo lists go depends on the seats in each branch and on how many candidates report.
What happens after the AMUEEE 2027 result?
If your roll number is on a Select or Chance Memo list, you take part in AMU’s online counselling and then report in person. In 2026 Round 1 registration ran from 25 to 27 June 2026, so the 2027 counselling is expected from June 2027.
- Register on the AMU counselling portal within the dates notified for B.Tech.
- Upload an image of your original qualifying marksheet and other documents, and fill your branch preferences in order.
- Check the Firm List on the admission firm lists page for the branch allotted to you on merit and preference.
- Pay the admission fee online by the deadline to keep the seat.
- Report in person with your original documents when told to.
- Watch later rounds: you are upgraded automatically to a higher-preference branch if a seat opens, unless you give an undertaking on the portal not to upgrade.
The fee payable at admission depends on the branch and on whether the seat is regular or self-finance. These amounts are from the 2026-27 Guide; AMU will confirm the 2027 fees in the new Guide:
| B.Tech. branch | Fee at admission (2026-27) |
|---|---|
| Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Chemical Technology (Refining & Petrochemicals) | Rs 25,500 (Rs 1,25,500 for self-finance seats) |
| Chemical Engineering (Food Technology) | Rs 51,500 (Rs 1,51,500 for self-finance seats) |
| Automobile Engineering (Electric & Hybrid Vehicles) | Rs 70,500 (Rs 1,70,500 for self-finance seats) |
| Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) | Rs 70,500 |
| Electronics & Comm. Engg. (VLSI Design & Technology) | Rs 70,500 |
What documents do I need after the AMUEEE 2027 result?
You need your qualifying exam marksheet and certificates at both stages. These rules are from the 2026-27 Guide and the 2026 B.Tech. Select List:
- At online counselling: an image of the original marksheet of the qualifying exam with the required percentage, and all other relevant certificates.
- At physical reporting: the original marksheet and all relevant certificates and documents, with 10 passport-size photographs.
- An internet-downloaded marksheet is accepted for provisional admission only if it is attested by the board, university or your school principal.
- If your qualifying exam result is not declared by counselling, or you are waiting for a supplementary or improvement result, you cannot be admitted.
Every offer of admission is provisional and needs clearance from the Proctor’s Office. To prepare for the next attempt, practise the AMUEEE previous year question papers.
