Every subject test has 100 questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes with no negative marking, so the 30 papers from the May 2026 tests are the closest match to AP PGCET 2027, expected in May 2027.

How to Use AP PGCET Previous Year Papers?
- Solve your own subject test. Each PG course takes a set test, such as Commerce, Chemical Sciences or Mathematical Sciences. Open that subject’s paper for every year from 2021 to 2026, which gives you up to six papers.
- Work at 54 seconds a question. 100 questions in 90 minutes is quick. Leave long calculations for the end of the session.
- Attempt all 100. With no negative marking, a guess can only add marks. Fill every answer before the 90 minutes end.
- Hide the green answers first. The key is marked on the paper itself, so cover the marks or write your answers on a sheet before you check.
- Plan for May 2027. About six months remain, with the form expected from February 2027. Solve your subject’s 2026 and 2025 papers first, then one older paper a week.

How many questions are there in an AP PGCET paper?
Each subject test has 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, to be done in 90 minutes on a computer.
Is there negative marking in AP PGCET?
No. The 2026 exam pattern notice has no negative marking, so attempt every question.
What is the qualifying mark in AP PGCET?
You need 35% of the marks, which is 35 out of 100, to get a rank. SC and ST candidates have no minimum mark.
Do the AP PGCET papers have answer keys?
Yes. Every paper on this page is a master paper with the correct options marked in green.
Is there a Polymer Science paper for 2026?
No. Polymer Science had no slot in the official 2026 schedule. Its papers are here for 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025.
Which university conducts AP PGCET?
A state university runs it for APSCHE each year. Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati conducted it in 2025 and 2026; the 2027 university is not named yet.
