What does the AP PGCET syllabus cover in each test?
Each test has its own syllabus, based on the B.A., B.Sc or B.Com course in that subject. The table lists the main areas of the most taken tests, from the 2026 syllabus PDFs.

Language tests (Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Tamil and English) follow the undergraduate language syllabus and are set in that language.
What is the AP PGCET 2027 exam pattern and marking?
Each test has 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks, to be answered in 90 minutes on a computer. There is no negative marking. Questions come only from the syllabus of that test and can include analogies, classification, matching and comprehension items. You need 35 out of 100 for a rank, except SC and ST candidates, who have no minimum.

The convening university posts one syllabus PDF for each test on the Syllabus page of cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/PGCET. These are the 2026 PDFs; the 2027 versions are expected with the notification.
