AP PGCET 2026 Preparation Tips

  • Read the official PDF first. Download the subject-wise AP PGCET Syllabus 2026 PDF from cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and tick off topics as you complete them.
  • Stick to UG-level standard textbooks recommended by your university for each subject – AP PGCET questions are pitched at that level.
  • Practise previous year question papers to understand recurring topics, question style, and weightage.
  • Master high-weightage topics first – in most subjects, 60-70% of the paper comes from a predictable set of core topics.
  • Time yourself. Since AP PGCET 2026 has 100 MCQs in 90 minutes, aim for under 1 minute per question with full-length timed mock tests.
  • Use the no-negative-marking advantage – attempt every question after eliminating clearly wrong options.
  • Revise the last 7-10 days using your own short notes; avoid starting new topics close to the exam.

AP PGCET 2026 Best Books

  • Use NCERT books up to Class 12 to brush up fundamentals before moving to UG-level texts.

  • Solve previous year AP PGCET / TS PGCET question papers for direct exposure to question patterns.
