How to Check the AP PGCET 2027 Result
- Go to cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/PGCET.
- Click Results and enter your registration number and AP PGCET hall ticket number.
- View your marks and rank.
- Go back, click Download Rank Card and enter your registration number, AP PGCET hall ticket number and date of birth.
- Print the rank card, paste a photo matching your application in the space given and attest it. You cannot attend certificate verification without it.
How are AP PGCET ranks decided?
Ranks are given test by test, in order of marks. You need 35% (35 out of 100) for a rank; SC and ST candidates get a rank without a minimum mark. Candidates with equal marks share a rank, and the older candidate gets preference at admission.
- Separate merit lists are made state-wide and for each local area.
- There are also lists for SC, ST and BC groups, minorities, and special categories such as NCC, sports, PwD and children of ex-servicemen.
- For M.P.Ed., the merit list is out of 200: test marks plus up to 100 marks for sports achievements.

AP PGCET has a qualifying cut off for a rank; the figures below are from the 2026 instruction booklet, and course-wise closing ranks come only during counselling.

What happens after the AP PGCET 2027 result?
Seats are filled through online, web-based counselling. A rank alone does not guarantee a seat; you must also meet the eligibility rules of the course.
- Register for counselling when the APSCHE notice is out and pay the processing fee.
- Complete certificate verification as per the schedule.
- Enter your course and college options in order of preference.
- Download the allotment order, pay the fee and report to the college by the deadline.
Seats are reserved as per Andhra Pradesh rules: 15% for SC, 6% for ST and 29% for BC groups, plus 10% extra seats for EWS. In 2026 the first phase of counselling ran in September, and a final phase was expected in October, as per news reports.
