BCECEB may or may not publish an answer key for BCECE 2027, expected to be held in May 2027. Its 2026 notice list had no answer key, and rank cards came out on 24 June 2026. You can still estimate your score with the marking scheme: 4 marks for a correct answer and 1 mark lost for a wrong one.
BCECE Answer Key 2027
This page explains whether BCECEB releases an answer key, how to estimate your score and where to practise with old answer keys.
How to Check Your BCECE 2027 Answers
- After the exam, check the BCECE notices on bceceboard.bihar.gov.in for any answer key notice.
- If BCECEB publishes a key, download it for your subject papers.
- Match the key with the answers you remember marking on your OMR sheet.
- Count correct, wrong and unattempted questions in each paper.
- Work out your marks with the scheme below, then wait for the rank card.
Does BCECEB release an official BCECE answer key?
Not in recent years. The 15 BCECE 2026 notices on the official site cover the form, rank card and counselling, but none is an answer key. In older years the board did issue subject-wise model answers, such as the 2015 and 2016 keys on our BCECE question paper pages.
The prospectus also says BCECEB does not accept requests for re-evaluation or re-totalling of answer sheets, so the rank card is final.
How to Calculate Your BCECE Score
Each subject paper has 100 questions. Use this marking scheme for every paper and add the three papers of your group.
| Response | Marks |
|---|---|
| Correct answer | +4 |
| Wrong answer | -1 |
| Not attempted | 0 |
| Maximum per paper | 400 |
Example: 70 correct and 20 wrong answers in a paper give 70 x 4 – 20 x 1 = 260 marks. Your group total is out of 1,200.
Where can you practise with BCECE answer keys?
Old BCECE papers with official model answers are the best practice material. Solve a full paper in 90 minutes, mark it with the +4 and -1 scheme, and note the chapters where you lose marks. When results are out, the BCECE 2027 result page explains the rank card and counselling.
