BCECEB issues separate rank cards for the agriculture group and the PCM and PCB groups. In 2026 rank cards came out on 24 June and counselling ran from July to September.

How to Check the BCECE Result 2027
- Go to bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
- Click the “Rank Card of BCECE-2027” link.
- Choose your rank card: Agriculture [CBA/MBA/MCA/PCA] group, Joint rank card of BCECE [PCM/PCB] group, or BCECE [PCM/PCB] group.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth.
- Download the rank card and keep printouts for counselling.
How is the BCECE merit list made?
BCECEB ranks you by the total of your three group papers. It makes separate merit lists for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths), PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and the agriculture group. Ties are broken in this order.

For Bihar residents, 2026 reservation was SC 16%, ST 1%, EBC 18%, BC 12%, reserved category women 3% and EWS 10%, with 40% unreserved. Another 5% of seats is for Divyang (DQ) candidates. Re-evaluation and re-totalling are not allowed.
What is the expected BCECE 2027 cut off?
BCECE has no fixed qualifying mark, so the closing rank of each college and course in counselling works as the cut off. These are the 2026 first-round closing ranks for general (not female-only) seats in the joint PCM/PCB counselling (official BCECEB opening and closing rank list); UR is the overall rank and the other columns are category ranks.

How does BCECE counselling work?
Counselling is online through BCECEB, with separate portals for the joint PCM/PCB/PCMB group, the agriculture group and engineering (PCM group). You log in with your Registration Number and password.
- Check the seat matrix posted on the website.
- Fill your choices of colleges and courses in order of preference. Choice filling is allowed only once.
- Lock your choices with the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email.
- Check the seat allotment result and download the provisional allotment order.
- Report to the given reporting or nodal centre for document verification, then choose to retain the seat or upgrade in the next round.
- Pass the medical examination and take admission at the allotted institute.
In 2026 the joint and agriculture groups had two rounds (29 July and 10 August) and a mop-up on 4 September. Engineering had rounds on 5 and 12 August and a mop-up on 11 September 2026.
Which documents are needed for BCECE counselling?
- Class 10 certificate as proof of age, and Class 12 (I.Sc.) marksheet
- BCECE admit card and rank card
- Caste certificate, income certificate and residence certificate, as applicable
- Character certificate and school or college leaving certificate
- SMQ or Divyang (DQ) certificate, if you claim that quota
- Copy of Aadhaar card
- Confirmation page of your online application
- Choice slip, three copies of the provisional allotment order, and two copies of the verification slip with the biometric form
