Here are the crucial pointers from the advisory that the candidates should note:
- CA exam started from November 21, 2020.
- ICAI will be conducting the exam as per the guidelines provided by the Govt of India.

The admit card for CA final is only released online. No copy is sent via post or e-mail. The steps to download CA final 2020 admit card as follows:
Step 1: Click on the link provided above.
Step 2: It leads to the official website, which looks as shown below.
Step 3: Click on the tab for “Login / Register”
Step 4: Now, enter login id and password, as received after the registration.
Step 5: After this, click on the link ‘view” button.
Step 6: Lastly, download CA final 2020 admit card.
Though candidates have to carry hard copy of the CA final admit card. It is advised that candidates also save a e-copy of it. For future use.
What to Do in Case Discrepancy in CA Final 2020 Admit Card?
In case candidates face any of the below-given troubles while / after downloading the CA final 2020 admit card, then they need to follow the steps below:
a) Photograph and / or signature are not there in the admit card, is it valid?
If photo or signature is missing in the CA Final Nov admit card 2020 then candidates need not worry. The admit card is still valid. All you need to do is paste a photo and do signature in the provided space. Then, get the admit card attested by a member of the Institute. While getting it attested, ensure that following is mentioned by the person attesting it, at the bottom of the page:
- Name
- Membership number
- Office stamp
- Sign / attesting
Candidates have to carry the attested copy of the admit card at the center, as proof of identity. Carry one duplicate copy of it as well. The original copy will be kept by the authorities.
b) Issued someone else’s admit card / details are incorrect / unable to print CA final admit card 2020:
In this case, candidates need to contact ICAI and inform the same. Candidates can call or e-mail ICAI. While doing so, candidates need to provide following information:
- Registration number.
- Bar code number of the exam form.
- Receipt number, as issued by the regional officer.
- Center opted for with the zone.
- Telephone number.
- Fax number, etc.

Things to Carry with CA Final Admit Card 2020
The candidates have to carry the below given things with the CA final 2020 admit card on th day of the exam:
- Valid Identity proof.
- 1 stamp size photograph (same as the photograph affixed on the attested letter in case if there is no photo or signature on the admit card).
- 2 stamp size photograph to be paste in the attendance sheet.
Since this year exam is being held under special circumstances, ICAI shall also allow candidates to carry – Marks, Sanitizer, Water Bottle, and Gloves.
Make sure that the water bottle and sanitizer has no label and have are transparent.

How to Retrieve CA Final Password?
There might be a case when the candidates have forgotten their password. In that case, the candidates can follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Visit the official website.
Step 2: Go to the login window.
Step 3: Then, click on the button ‘Forgot Password’.
Step 4: Now, select from which you want to get the password back (e-mail, by entering the date of birth or by entring the registration number and bar code).
Step 5: After entering the information, click on the ‘submit; button.
Option 1: Login Particulars Sent to Email
- If you choose Option 1, you need to enter details such as Registration Number, Mobile Number or Email ID or security question.
- Then click on the “Submit” button and your Password will be sent to the registered email id.
Option 2: By entering the necessary login details
- If you choose to get your password through Option 2, you need to enter login details such as Registration Number, Date of birth and Security Question
- Submit the login details and your password will be available on the screen.
Option 3: By entering the necessary login details
- If you choose Option 3, then you need to enter details like Registration Number, Exam Application Barcode Number, Personal Identification No. (PIN).
- Click on the “Submit” button and you will get your Password.
Valid Exemption not Visible in CA Final 2020 Admit Card?
Candidate who have a valid exemption shall not receive any information regarding the same in the CA admit card 2020. To check it, candidates have to check statement of marks. If there is an Alphabet “E” printed against the marks of the paper indicates that marks for that particular paper has been brought forward from an exemption granted in that paper in the earlier attempt.
A “#” symbolizes that candidate has been granted exemption in that paper and it will be valid for next 3 following exams.

CA Final 2020 Result
The result for CA Final is going to be declared in the online mode at icaiexam.icai.org. CA Final 2020 Result can be checked by entering Roll Number and PIN or Registration Number. After the declaration of the result, a merit list is also published at the offcial website only.
After the declaration of result, the statement of marks is also sent to candidates via post. A pass certificate is also sent to the candidates who have passed both the groups.
