How to Check the CULET-UG Result 2027
The result is a public PDF on the university’s law admission page; you do not need to log in to see it.
- Open the CU B.A. LL.B. admission page.
- Click the Entrance Test Result link for the year.
- Search the PDF for your application number or hall ticket number.
- Note your normalised marks; they decide your place in the merit list.
- Check the draft merit list a couple of days later and send any claim for correction before the deadline.
What details are shown in the CULET-UG result?
There is no separate scorecard. The result list gives every candidate’s marks and a summary of their responses. It is not the merit list.
How is the CULET-UG merit list prepared?
The merit list ranks candidates strictly by entrance test marks, from highest to lowest. If marks are equal, the tie is broken in this order:
- Fewer wrong answers in the test
- Higher percentage in the best four subjects at 10+2 (excluding Environmental Studies)
- Higher percentage in English or English Core at 10+2
The draft merit list comes first so that you can claim corrections and change your preference order. The provisional merit list follows, and selection lists are made from it by category and course.
What is the expected CULET-UG 2027 cut off?
The university publishes no cut off, but its selection lists show where seats closed. These are the last marks admitted in the 2026 1st selection lists (official, 15 September 2026) at the four government-aided institutes:

Marks are normalised entrance marks out of 100; later mop-up lists closed lower. For the 8 October 2026 special drive at these four institutes, SC, ST and PWD applicants needed 25 marks or more and OBC and EWS applicants 30 or more. The highest normalised score in 2026 was 72.50.
What happens after the CULET-UG 2027 result?
After the provisional merit list, seats are filled through selection lists and mop-up rounds. If your name is on a selection list:
- Log in to the admission portal with your user ID and password.
- Upload all documents as one PDF of up to 2 MB.
- After verification, pay the seat booking fee online: Rs 2,000 for CU and government-aided institutes, Rs 10,000 for self-financed colleges.
- Pay the residual admission fee to the college by the deadline.
- To try for a higher preference, register for the next mop-up round (free) before its deadline.
Originals are checked physically after admission. Forged documents lead to cancellation and a permanent ban from CU admissions.
