Is it necessary to obtain 99+ Percentile in order to receive a call from IIMs?
It is a most common perception that in order to get calls from IIMs, one need to score more than 99+. This is true, that the higher the percentile the higher are the chances to get admission in prestigious IIMs. However, there have been cases where 89.97 percentile have received call to attend WAT and PI.
Yet, such changes are very less. Also, every IIM have it’s own criteria of finally admission, which includes a lot of factors like class 10, 12 marks, graduation score, weightage of job experience, etc. Hence, it is advised that candidates aim to get as high as they can.
