CAT Admit Card 2018 – Admit card of CAT Exam 2018 will be available at official website of CAT 2018, iimcat.ac.in. Common Admission Test 2018 exam admit card will not be available for download after the last date. Candidates will be able to login to download and print hall ticket to appear in CAT Exam 2018. After the exam, process of checking result of CAT 2018 shall be similar. Exam center allotted for CAT Exam 2018, will be indicated in CAT Admit Card 2018. Candidates will have to print it on A4 size sheet using the laser printer and ensure photograph, signature is legible. It will be taken along with photo identification card. CAT Admit Card 2018 contains important details such as your name, registration number, date of birth, category, PWD or not, photograph, date and day of the test, test time and session, test city, test centre, test system number, signature, instructions. CAT Admit Card 2018 – Important Instructions
- You must print CAT Admit Card 2018 on an A4 size sheet using the laser printer.
- Admit Card of CAT 2018 is valid only if photograph and signature images are legible.
- You need to paste photograph (uploaded at the time of registration) on admit card in space provided.
- It is compulsory to present admit card of CAT Exam 2018 whenever it is asked for at the time of the exam.
You need to bring at least one original valid photo identification card with CAT Admit Card. It could be college ID, employer ID, driving license, passport, PAN card, voter ID, Aadhaar card, identification affidavit. Photo ID card should not be damaged or smudged.
You will get rough pad and pen at center.
Do not take the mobile phone, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, stationery items, papers, wallets, goggles.

How to download CAT Admit Card 2018?
You will download CAT Admit Card 2018 by following the easy instructions explained in following points.
- Go to official website iimcat.ac.in.
- Navigate to admit card download link or log in link. Or, you can skip it and just click on admit card download link above on this page.
- Then, the window will be open.
- Now that you have reached the candidate login for view / edit / download application form / admit card. Enter user ID and password.
- Click Login.
- Here you see three tabs on top. One is application summary. Next is download application form. Third is admit card. (Please note that third tab appears only in the duration of admit card login.)
- First, check application summary. Ensure that all is correct.
- Click on admit card tab. Admit card of CAT 2018 appears on screen now.
- Save and print it.
You can print multiple copies of CAT Admit Card. This is because even if you soil or disfigure it in any way by exam day, then you have other fresh copies to use. There should be no markings or external writing on admit card. A hard copy of official admit card, without any issues, is essential on exam day. You should print admit card on an A4 size paper using the laser printer. Please keep in mind that it is valid only if your photograph and signature are legible.
What items to bring, and not to bring, on the day of CAT exam 2018?

- If you are using services of a scribe, then scribe affidavit is required
Specifically, allowed photo IDs include aadhaar card, college id, driving license, employer id, identification affidavit, pan card, passport, voter ID. It should have photograph and signature clearly on it.
Now about items, you must not bring to the exam centre. They are as follows.

About Common Admission Test (CAT) 2018
You must shift the focus must shift on exam preparation after downloading the admit card of CAT 2018. There are 3 sections in the exam.
There are MCQs (multiple choice question) and NATs (numerical answer type) questions. Where there are MCQs, you will select that option which you want to enter an answer, on screen. In NATs on the other hand you will type in answer. Please note that you cannot switch from one section to another. There will be one-hour time for each section. Sections are as follows.

CAT 2018 Result
You may also want to note what happens after the exam. After the exam, IIML will execute the process of paper checking. Since the exam is computer-based, online submitted answers get matched with the database of question and answers. Ultimately it comes down to the number of questions that you answer correctly and the number of incorrectly marked responses. Total marks calculation happen which leads to a raw score.
