Candidates interested in pursuing Polytechnica course from an institute in Delhi will be required to submit Delhi CET 2018 Application Form. The forms will be released in the month of March 2018, on the official website of CET cetdelhi.nic.in. Procedure to Apply for Delhi CET 2018
The candidates can apply for the Delhi Common Entrance Test (CET) by following the steps below:
Step-1: Accessing the Application Form
The link to avail the application form will be provided on this page. The candidates will just have to click the link and then access the “Apply for CET – 2018 for Admission in Diploma Courses” and the application portal will open.
Step-2: Submitting Choices for the Test
First of all, the candidates will have to state the choices for the test for which they wish to apply.
Step-3: Login and Submitting the Form
Next step would be to login. The window will appear as below. In it, the candidates will have to submit the choose the Name of the Exam and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step-4: Filling Delhi CET Application Form
Now, the application form will open and in it, the candidates will have to submit Personal Details, Course and Exam City Options, Educational Details, Communication Details. Apart from submitting the details, the candidates will also be required to choose the Password and enter the Security Pin.

After submitting these details, the candidates will also have to ‘Agree’ with the Declaration and then click on the ‘Final Submit; button. However, the candidates can also use the ‘Edit APplication Form Data’ button if they want to change any of the entered details. After the final submit the candidates will not have the opportunity to edit the data. Hence, it is advisable to check the entered details thoroughly before submitting it.
Once the form is submitted, the candidates will get an Application Number. It is an important number and must be kept safe.
Step-5: Uploading Photograph, Signature, and Thumb Impression
Now, the candidates will have to upload Photograph, Thumb Impression, and Signature. These are to be submitted in the prescribed format, else, the application form will be rejected. The specifications for these are as below:
- Photograph – the size of the image must be between 4 KB to 100 KB (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm)
- Signature – the size of the image must be between 1 KB to 30 KB (3.5 cm X 2.5 cm)
- Thumb Impression – the size of the image should be between 1 KB to 30 KB (3.5 cm X 1.5 cm)
Step-6: Payment of Application Fee
The last step to submit the application form of Delhi CET 2018 is the payment of the application fee. To submit the application fee, the candidates will have to any of the two modes, which are:
- Online Payment – Net Banking or Debit Card
- Pay through Corporation Bank – E-challan
Candidates should note that the amount of application fee, last year, was Rs. 400. It is expected that even this year it will remain the same. However, the conformity will only be communicated through the information brochure.
Once the fee amount is paid, the confirmation page will be generated. The candidates are advised to download it and keep it safe.
Delhi CET Admit Card
Only those candidates, who will submit the Delhi CET Application Form and Fee in prescribed format, will be issued admit card. The issuance will also be done online and the candidates will be able to download it by submitting the Application Number and Password.
The candidates should note that the admit card is an important document, without which the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. It will also be needed during the checking of the result and final admission. Hence, the candidates must secure it properly.
