CET Delhi 2026 Preparation Tips

  1. Master Class 10 NCERT textbooks for Mathematics, Science (Physics + Chemistry) — these are the primary source for Test 1 questions.
  2. Focus on Mathematics since it carries the highest weightage (~40 questions in Test 1). Practice all types of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics questions.
  3. Solve previous year question papers – available at the CET Delhi Previous Year Question Papers page – to identify repeated question patterns and chapter-wise frequency.
  4. Attempt full-length mock tests in online mode (CBT) to build speed and accuracy, and get comfortable with the AI-proctored interface.
  5. Revise formulas and definitions from Physics and Chemistry just before the exam; high-yield chapters include Electricity, Light, Carbon Compounds, and Acids-Bases-Salts.
  6. Time management: 3 hours for 90 questions = 2 minutes per question. Practise to solve within time.
  7. Avoid random guessing: with –1 negative marking, blind guessing on unsure answers can reduce your net score.
