What is the CET Delhi Test-1 syllabus?
Test-1 is set from the CBSE Class 9 and Class 10 syllabus. In 2026 it followed the Class 9 exam held in 2025 and the Class 10 exam held in 2026, so 2027 is expected to follow the 2026 Class 9 and 2027 Class 10 syllabus.
- Mathematics (30 questions): number systems, polynomials, linear and quadratic equations, arithmetic progressions, triangles, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, circles, areas and volumes, statistics and probability
- Physics (15 questions): motion, force and laws of motion, gravitation, work and energy, sound, light, the human eye, electricity and magnetic effects of current
- Chemistry (15 questions): matter and its nature, atoms and molecules, structure of the atom, chemical reactions, acids, bases and salts, metals and non-metals, carbon compounds
- Biology (15 questions): cell and tissues, life processes, control and coordination, reproduction, heredity and our environment
- English (15 questions): reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and usage at Class 10 level
What is the CET Delhi Test-2 (Pharmacy) syllabus?
Test-2 is set from the CBSE Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus. The paper has 120 questions, and you answer 90: Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology.
- Physics (30 questions): mechanics, thermodynamics, oscillations and waves, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism, optics and modern physics
- Chemistry (30 questions): physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry from Class 11 and 12
- Biology (30 questions): diversity of life, cell biology, plant and human physiology, reproduction, genetics, evolution, biology in human welfare and ecology
- Mathematics (30 questions): algebra, trigonometry, calculus, coordinate geometry, vectors and 3D geometry, and probability
What is the CET Delhi Test-3 (lateral entry) syllabus?
Test-3 has 30 questions each in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, set from the CBSE Class 10, 11 and 12 syllabus. It is only for Delhi candidates seeking direct admission to the second year of an engineering diploma.
What is the CET Delhi 2027 exam pattern and marking?
Every test is a 90-minute online test of 90 multiple-choice questions for 360 marks. A correct answer gets 4 marks and a wrong answer loses 1 mark.

How to Prepare for CET Delhi 2027
- Study NCERT textbooks first. For Test-1, Class 10 Mathematics and Science carry most of the paper.
- Give Mathematics extra time: it has 30 of the 90 questions in Test-1 and Test-3 and decides ties.
- Do not skip Biology and English in Test-1. Together they carry 30 questions, or 120 marks.
- Take the official mock test on the portal before the exam to get used to the proctored interface.
- Avoid blind guessing, since every wrong answer costs 1 mark.
