Delhi CET 2020 – Delhi Common Entrance Test (CET) 2nd Round counselling process has been started. To apply for counselling, candidates have to lock their choice at delhidiploma.admissions.nic.in or cetdelhi.nic.in. Also, there is no entrance exam this year. Admissions are going to be made on a Merit basis. Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE) conducts Delhi CET 2020 at the state level for admissions in Full-time Engineering/Non-Engineering Diploma and Occupational Programmes, Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice–English/Hindi, Diploma Course in Pharmacy, and Lateral Entry. Candidate must have qualified 10th standard for admission in diploma courses, 12th standard for modern office practice, pharmacy and lateral entry. Delhi CET 2020 Counselling
Shortlisted candidates are called for CET counselling. It is conducted online. The procedure for the same is published on the official website after the declaration of the CET 2020 result. Candidates have to register for the counselling online. A total number of four (4) rounds plus two (2) spot rounds are conducted for the counselling. Candidates are allotted seats on the basis of merit and choices submitted by him/her. A Provisional Allotment Letter is issued to the candidates to whom seats are allotted.
Delhi CET 2020 Result
The result for CET releases on the official website as per the schedule. To check the result, candidates have to login using their application number and password. Result is not sent via post. The CET result is released in the form of a scorecard. Candidate’s are called for counselling on the basis of the candidate’s merit in the merit list.

Delhi CET 2020 Application Form
Candidates have to fill the application form online only. Form will be available on the offficial webste as per the schedule. Candidate’s application form is considered only if the correct and updated information is filled along with the payment of the application fee and submission of the required documents. Candidates have to fill separate application form for each test.
How to Apply?
Step 1: First of all, visit the official website, cetdelhi.nic.in and register yourself by filling in all the details.
Step 2: While registering, candidates has to create a password which will be helpful in future logins.
Step 3: Thereafter, candidate receives an application form in which information such as category, qualification details, personal and family details are to be filled.
Step 4: Moving forward, candidates have to affix the significant documents such as photograph, signature and thumb impression
Step 5: In the end, candidates need to pay the amount of the Application fee via online mode. Now, submit the form and take a print out of it for future reference.
Application Fee: Making the payment of fee is the last step in the application process and one of the utmost important to do. The expected application fee for this year is
- Rs 400/- plus the bank charges for every candidate.

Delhi CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility standards for applying in Delhi CET 2020 from below.
Age Limit: Candidates can check the maximum age limit for each test and category

Qualification Required for Test 1 – Engineering/Technology based Diploma Courses & Occupational Courses
Candidate must have qualified 10th standard, conducted by CBSE/other recognized board with a minimum 35% aggregate or 3.7 CGPA. Candidate must have the mandatory subject such as Science, Mathematics and English in his/her 10th subjects and passing in each of these three subjects is mandatory.
Qualification Required for Test 2 – Modern Office Practice (English), Modern Office Practice (Hindi)
Candidate must have qualified 12th standard, conducted by CBSE/other recognized board with a minimum 35% aggregate of the best three subjects including English for MOP (English) and Hindi or Sanskrit for MOP (Hindi).
Qualification Required for Test 3 – Pharmacy
Candidate must have qualified 12th standard with Physics and Chemistry as the mandatory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology.
Qualification Required for Test 4 – Lateral Entry
- Candidate must have qualified 12th standard with Physics and Chemistry as the mandatory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology OR
- Candidate must have qualified 12th Science with Mathematics as the compulsory subject or 12th Science with Vocational OR 12th Science with Technical OR
- Candidate must have qualified 10th + (2years ITI) with appropriate Trade in that order OR
- Candidate must have qualified 10th + (2years ITI) with appropriate Trade against 20% supernumerary seats in analogous disciplines of Test 1.
Delhi CET 2020 Exam Pattern and Syllabus
No Entrance Exam this year
Delhi CET includes a total number of four (4) test. Test one (1) is for Engineering/Technology based Diploma Courses & Occupational Courses, Test two (2) is for admission in Modern Office Practice (English), Modern Office Practice (Hindi), Test three (3) is for admission in pharmacy and test four (4) is conducted for admission in the lateral entry. For each test, the pattern differs and hence candidates are suggested to check it from the below-mentioned points.
- Duration of the test: Delhi CET is a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes examination.
- Mode of CET: It is conducted offline i.e in pen and paper mode.
- Type of Questions: The test contains all the MCQ type questions.
- Total number of questions: Test 1 and 4 contains 150 questions. Test 3 contains 210 questions and Test 2 contains 310 questions out of which candidate has to attempt 150 questions only.
- Medium / Language of the question papers: The language of the test will be in Hindi and English both.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer is given four (04) marks whereas (01) mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

Delhi CET 2020 Reservation
Reservation is as per as per the policy of the Delhi Government. Candidates can check the reservation in various categories during 2020-21 from below-mentioned points.
- For SC Category: 15% of the seats are are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste.
- For ST Category: 7.5% of the seats are are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe.
- For OBC Category: 27% seats are reserved for OBC candidates who belong to Non-Creamy Layer.
- For PwD Category: 5% of the seats are reserved for Person with Disabilities/Divyang (PWD).
- For Defence Personnel: 5% of the seats are reserved for Person with Disabilities/Divyang (PWD).
- For NCC Cadets: 0.5% seats are reserved for NCC Cadets on the basis of the merit among the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
Note: Candidates have toprovide an orignal caste certificate at the time of admission or counselling.
Delhi CET 2020 Admit Card
No Entrance Exam this year, hence no admit card is issued
Candidates who have registered for the Common Entrance Exam (CET) are able to download the admit card as per the schedule from the official website. Admit card releases approximately 10 days prior to the examination. To download, candidate has to login using Application Number and Password. Candidate shall not live in an impression that admit card is sent via post to his/her address. Moreover, candidate must carry the hardcopy of the Delho CET 2020 admit card on the day of examination.
