How the Delhi CET Paper Changed (2019–2026)
- 2019: a pen-and-paper Test-1 with 150 bilingual questions for 600 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes, held on 8 and 9 June 2019.
- 2022: the test moved online and was AI-proctored, taken from home, with registration on the DSEU admission portal.
- 2026 pattern: 90 questions for 360 marks in 90 minutes per test, with Biology and English now part of Test-1.
- Using the 2019 paper: its Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry questions are still good practice, but solve 90 of them in 90 minutes to match today’s test.
How to Use Delhi CET Previous Year Papers?
- Practise at one question a minute. The test gives you 90 minutes for 90 questions. Pick 90 questions from the 2019 booklet and finish them in that time.
- Spend most effort on Mathematics. It has 30 of the 90 questions in Test-1 and breaks ties first, so a strong Mathematics score counts twice.
- Guess only with a reason. With +4 and −1, a random pick among four options averages +0.25 marks, and it rises to about +0.67 once one option is ruled out.
- Check answers from your books. The 2019 booklet has no answer key, so check your answers from your Class 9 and 10 textbooks and note the chapters you got wrong.
- Add Biology and English practice. Test-1 now has 15 questions each in Biology and English, and the old paper does not cover them the same way, so revise them from the Class 10 syllabus before June 2027.
